Hi, ok, Im new here, dont know if this belongs here or not, but some years ago I found a fan fiction I really liked called "the last days". Dont remember the author, but on a site they said his name is Jeff Singleton. Relm was the main character and overal I thought it was pretty good, and long.
Anyway, I downloaded it to my hard drive and unfortunately the hard drive burned out. I lost all I had there along with the fan fic. Ive been trying for years to find this fic again but I havent been abble to find it or any information about the author.
Im just wondering if anyone here got a chance to read it and know of any place that I can get it, have any info about it, or actually copied it and managed to keep it safe, hehe.

Im an amateur writer and have been working on a fan fic of my own as an excercise, and I have an idea that I pretty much like, but it starts similar as I remember this fic started. I dont want to write something that can be seen as copyin somebody elses work. So thats one reason ive been trying to locate this. Also I REALLY LIKED the story and would like to read it again. Anyway, hope somebody has any info about it. Thanks

Can't say I've read it. Do you recall the site it was on, perhaps, to try archive.org? A quick check on Google turns up, er, this thread as the first result using the exact phrase "the last days" and the second result is talking about alt.games.final-fantasy but that's it.

Thanks, yes that alt. site is where I got the author info but nothing more. I think it used to be in fanfiction.net, but Im not sure, because its not there anymore. Or at least I cant find it.
