l'm sure everyone has heard of people with abilties like the stuff we see in comics. Such as the man who can swim in the arctic and people with super human strength. l know there is science to explain such things and a lot of what we see in media is BS, but does anyone here believe in such things?
l bring this up because a few nights ago (halloween actually) l was walking home and decided to to shut my eyes to give myself a little scare, since l've never liked not seeing what l'm doing (makes me feel vulnerable) and after few seconds l realised that l could see. lt's very faint, but when l shut my eyes, l can make out my surroundings. Not exactly superhuman, but something is definitely there. Here's the iceman article. We're all different genetically, so it could be that your eyelids are thinner than usual, or that it was the afterimage of your surroundings and (Sorry to say it man, but it's the internet) you could be lying. I'm a skeptic so I always look at it from the "Is this guy lying? Can he make any money from this? If yes then why am I not doing it?" angle. I don't think super powers really exist, but there are people who can do some pretty kickass stuff.

Light can at least partially penetrate your eye lids. Close your eyes and look in the direction of the computer screen or in the direction of a light. You can see that it's brighter. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you don't have super powers dude, lol.

Yes, Blitz, l've covered my eyes completely. There is no light coming through my eye lids. l never said it was a super power, it's just something l can't explain. That's kind of what this topic is about y'know? l'd just like to explore human phenomenon.
