I'm going to have to disagree about the third movement. The digitized organ from the original cartridge actually did a better job here. There are a couple minor points, like where he seems to be slightly off on the quick arpeggios, and the timing / emphasis changes he made don't really jive with me, but that's forgivable. I don't like the organ. It's too close to the original, but without the same crisp brilliance (to be fair, it could be lost in the recording). The organ sample used in the original had something like an echo or reverb built into it, which gave it a distinct timber.

Have you heard the concert recording on piano played by (if I'm remembering this correctly) Nobuo Uematsu? He adds in a whole slew of extra notes, most notably on the left hand.

I've heard a piano arrangement by Michael Huang which is astoundingly well-done. He did it in the style of Bach, reminds me of Goldberg Variations, which I think fits the piece very well.

I've never been one for electronic of metal remixes of video game music, but I love a good orchestral or piano arrangement. I really dug Oren Productions' 'Cantata for Dancing' though it does get a little busy, it's still pretty epic.

This reminds me, I need to do my own piano arrangements of Dancing Mad sometime...

On the original topic, though, here are my comments:

First tier: Too fast, too much power metal / speed metal. Should be slower, more grandiose, and more imposing. Beginning fails the contrast between the "ba da DAA" and the "ba da DEE", but at least the choir sounds nice. Middle "choir" section needs MUCH, MUCH more contrast. Fast section actually sounds nice.
Second tier: Great job! The demented catchiness of this tune is quite appropriate, and a refreshing take on the music.
"Heaven save point": No, bad idea. Because the second tier music ends on a G# chord, and that's a great dominant lead-in to the C# chord at the start of the third tier music. Going to A minor breaks that.
Third tier: Surprisingly meh compared to the rest of this video. Perhaps needs more organ sonority? But good choice, sticking with solo organ.
Fourth tier: Very nice idea with the silence. And then the Kefka laugh at the end of the buildup--which, as this person recognizes, should indeed be solo organ. Part 1 really, REALLY NEEDS the 8+7 (or 7+8) rhythm (and later 8+7+8+8) to really convey the twisted sound of Kefka's true nature. Ending part should be the same as in first tier music, if possible.

Part 1:not bad,the metal that comes in later and fast beat doesn't go though.
This is music that is supposed to represent the late 1700's or early 1800's

part 2:too brazilian,the music doesn't fit at all as it makes the viewer want to dance instead of intimidate them,and the metal totally doesn't fit.

They ruined part 2.

The keyboard still fits,but something feels off.

Part 3 chrous piece is pretty good
Part 4 sounded too much metal and didn't feel half religious half punk rock.

the thing about dancing mad,it was supposed to be a mixture of gothic church and soft rock.

When i was listening to part 2,it didn't feel like he was bringing the apocalypse and was going to smite me.

Good grief! What's the rush here? I hate it when they change the tempo so much. And what the hell was with the second part? It sounded like a jungle dance track at first. I had to check back on the browser to make sure I didn't get sent to another video.

Yeah, give me the piano version, or the original version anytime.
