So out of the blue I decided to check out my old Animal Crossing save for Gamecube and upon loading up my town I spoke to one of my neighbors Mitzi who said I hadn't been there for 88 months. That's about 7 1/3 years. It was interesting walking around my town and seeing different things. I remember I played the game non-stop back in 2002-2003. Place is covered in weeds but my collecting habits were odd. I apparently kept all the shirts and stationary I didn't want to get rid of lined up along the ocean. I don't know. Looking at all this gave me a laugh and an interesting sense of nostalgia but a strange feeling too. Like, I used to know everything there was to know about this game and now I have a vague recollection of that knowledge but everything isn't still there. I feel that way when I play Earthbound, Final Fantasy VI, and Final Fantasy Tactics. Like I used to have all this knowledge which his now gone....it was a trip. If you're bored and looking for something to do, you might want to check out your old Animal Crossing town. My character's name was Bekah and the town was called "Fromage" which is the French word for cheese.

Oh my gawd, I love Animal Crossing. I've played WW and CF, and I'm really looking forward to 3DS.
I haven't played City Folk in forever. ![]() -------------------- "When we think there's no hope left, we keep looking until we find some!" - Claire Farron |

... My town in the GameCube version is still there and I haven't played for years. Now I feel like a monster. I prefer Wild World though. This is the kind of game that you want to take with you wherever you go, like on trips and stuff.
I'm currently collecting the Snowman set of furniture. |

My sibling still play this one. I think their town is as old as yours. I had a town and haven't touched it since forever.
I logged back in and I got a harassment from my city folk about not talking to them forever. I even had mail about 4-7 people leaving. The place was covered in weeds, garbage was every where from where the city folk had dumped it, clothes were scattered about, bags of money was thrown in front of my house where I ran out of space in my pocket and my letters were full of things I wanted to carry around but ran out of space. And the inside of my house! Full of cockroaches! >.< I loved the game until Mr. Ressetti (?) nagged at me for a storm turning my game off. I was like "GARRH! I'M NEVER PLAYING YOU AGAIN!" And then never played it again. Lost all my money and my rare items... I have the new Animal Crossing, though it seems nothing has changed. lol -------------------- |
