Please tell me what the hell this is. A Mega Man game taking place in some kind of Capcom multiverse? Apparently it will "redefine what a Mega Man game can be" according to Mega Man mastermind Keiji Inafune. More info at Comic-Con.

Oh man, I don't know what it is but I gotta have it. I thought that they couldn't top putting Arthur in the game, till we got 1987 middle-aged man-style Mega Man at the end there. Glad I have friends going to Comic Con that I can grill for info.

Whatever it is, it sure looks like it's already shaping up to be a great way for Capcom to overcharge Mega Man fanboys for Add-ons, DLC, and other assorted goodies. Why they haven't been milking such a customizable character more is beyond me.
Oh, Capcom, when will you ever get tired of ill-advised crossovers? -------------------- I find your lack of faith disturbing... |

I agree with this. Arthur is the man, but the Box Art Mega Man is way too good to handle. -------------------- Is PJ |

Does seem really odd.
However any Mega Man ends up an awesome Mega Man usually. |

Holy shit, did Mega Man turn into Ryu, then Arthur???
Also, I LOL'd heartily at Middle-Aged Mega Man at the end. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. New trailer
Right now, the big speculation is that you play through classic Mega Man levels, new Mega Man levels, and user-created Mega Man levels as one of an extremely large large collection of Capcom characters. It's basically a Mega Man games for the oldschool Mega Man fans. Do want. -------------------- |

Looks better and better. Combined with the fact that they've FINALLY announced a couple fighters in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 that I'm interested in, Capcom's lookin' pretty good to me right now. Also, is it just me, or does Infaking look about 30 at oldest? That guy's gotta be a necromancer or something.
PS- I notice 1987 Mega Man's attack is called "B. Shot" Though I doubt it, deep inside I hope that B stands for "Box Art". -------------------- "If art doesn't risk upsetting expectations and challenging its audience, it can only stagnate." |

Looks like fun. I like how it's "Bad Box art" MegaMan, as everyone know he never looks like that in game.

Quote I'll have to choke someone if "Terrible Boxart Megaman" isn't a playable character. LOL! Right on. |

It looks fun, but they really need to decide on an art style and add some consistency, because that is one horrifically ugly game.

Basically, this strikes me as LittleBigPlanet but with Mega man stages and Capcom characters. You know what? I'm completely on-board for that. Ideally, they'll polish the sprites or the levels, because that classic Mega Man feel with those awkward 3d sprites just doesn't work for me at all.

Middle-Aged Mega Man had better be the lethal joke character. Like Simon Belmont in Harmony of Dissonance.
