today, you can get Portal, the game, for absolutely free. If you don't have this game for some strange reason, go get it on steam.

Yeah, i just downloaded Steam + Portal on my mac..

I just to say, this game is one of the most clever and fun games I've played in awhile! I actually played most of the game in one sitting (like, 2-3 hours..). Granted, it's kind of short, but playing it was really fun.

If anyone hasn't checked it out yet, I'd recommend it tongue.gif Unless you hate puzzle games.

But anyways, I'm super stoked that steam's out on the Mac. Can't wait to play counter strike again..

Yeah, this is quite the bit o' news everywhere just about. I just thought I'd like to add that it's not just one day. It's up until the 24th (it's currently May 2010 for those who can't read time stamps tongue.gif ). I find that it's kinda neat that they're doing this and it's quite a neat little piece of work. I kinda see why everybody likes it so much now. It's seems to play vaguely like The Legend of Zelda on high tech, except with fewer enemies and only one key item. It's map exploration and puzzles personified into an FPS shell and has a bit of wry wit. Cool game and puts a new spin on a genre I don't usually have much love for.
