I'm not sure if you all were aware of this yet, but I think it is an important news story. The Supreme Court just announce that they will hear a case involving a video game law in California this Fall.

The law gives the Californian government authority to ban certain violent video games. All other judicial levels have declared it unconstitutional, and now the Supreme Court will decide.

I personally find it ironic that The Terminator is pressing hard for this law to remain, since he has been in numerous video games in the past.

It is not about banning violent video games at all. The law would make it a felony to sell mature- or adult-rated games to minors. It would indirectly affect the game industry's rating system and the marketing of games of those ratings, but it is far from actually impeding the creative process of the game developers themselves.
