Ok, who's seen this? I have seen it a couple of times and still am not quite sure what to think about it. Wonder what would happen if I tried calling one of those numbers. . .

I liked the commercial, but it took a few times to realize that the people in the commerical were the main characters in the game. From what I've seen of the game, they seem kinda out of character. I don't know, maybe they get that way eventually. huh.gif

Ohh, I see now. The commercial makes more sense now. I could not figure out what message they were really trying to get acrros. So calling them is basically acting like you can recruit them in real life. Still I give the commercial a thumbdown.gif , they really could have done a better job coming up with an idea.

And yes, it freaks me out as well.

I haven't seen a (decent) video game commercial in years. What channel/time frame does the Tactics ADV commercial usually come on?

I see it a lot on Spike TV (formerly TNN) and Cartoon Network, IIRC...

I just saw a commercial for it. The hotline one.
They are making commercials... strange (that's not a strong enough word eh.gif )

There hasn't been a good commercial for a game in awhile, as DP said. This one for FFTA just scared me to think how much those people were payed to act like roleplaying mongers.... and since do Final Fantasy characters use phones and have their own hotline? Honestly. That could've save me a whole lot of time in a game like FFVII

"WTF... where the hell do i go in the temple of ancients?!"
::picks up phone::
"Yeah, Cloud? Hey, could you tell me where to go now?...yeah...Yeah...Ok there's my problem. Ok, thank you."

That commercial is an odd one. That Ritz chick seemed way too weird. The commercial kinda makes the game look crappy.

But they don't show some of the coolest FMV's like in FFX though.
