Oddly enough I think the combo is better than either original song, largely because I can't stand Kurt's voice. The use of the filter over Rick Astley's video to merge the two was really well done. |

It was awesome.
I can't agree with you on it being better than any of it's components. It is different, but I like both songs too much to let this outclass them. Does anyone else think that Nirvana's video looks more dated than Rick's? Maybe contemporary fashion has spiralled back to Rick's time, or Nirvana have always been unfashionable, or both.
Anyway, clever little video, I like it. My friend mashed Bloc Party's Flux up against Apologise by One Republic. That is still probably the best mix I've heard. -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Me on the Starcraft. |

I'm a sucker for the 'rickroll' in the first place. But this one is very well done. The music is put together so that it there's not a whole lot of disunity.
