So while playing my SNES version of FFVI, I tipped the game over into the World of Ruin and went back to Figaro in order to retrieve Edgar...
However, after the fight with the tentacles, he joins my party, and I assume the game re-equips him based off of whats in my inventory, and something weird happens. Has anyone seen this happen before? http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/oo26/DM...fviedgarbug.jpg I didn't know you could equip a sword to your head! ![]() Edit: Dimensions were rather large for the screenshot. I read about that somewhere. I hear the drill is his best helmet. So what is he doing with that weak Enhancer?

That is odd. I could just imagine Edgar tying a sword to his head.

That is weird. I've never encountered anything like that outside the realm of roms/emulators (where I once encountered a Force Shield being used as a helmet).

Quote (Toransu Kuja @ 23rd September 2009 14:29) I read about that somewhere. I hear the drill is his best helmet. So what is he doing with that weak Enhancer? Oddly enough, I noticed that before I noticed it was on his head. -------------------- If god is all-forgiving then why do we have to kill people in his name? |

I've heard of this too but with armor. Like Toransu, I remember reading somewhere that the drill gives max defense.

That is indeed odd. Just another of the endless glitches embedded in this awesome masterpiece...

Sounds like what is known as the Equip Anything but; if the 'Optimum' function is used (as it was here) and the game is flat out of options (in this case, no useful helmet for Edgar in the Inventory), it'll grab whatever is in the bottom right-hand slot.
Dunno about the effects of the various items, though... -------------------- |

Maybe Bismarck inspired him.
