I just played ff12 ds and boy are the graphics weird

Is it me? or do the characters look like muppets?

I agree, I think Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings is a great game. The graphics are nice, and it's a really expansive game. Loads of sidequests, missions, weapons (crafting and renaming your own is awesome). However, it's pretty hard towards the end. I've been stuck on one of the Chapter 9 missions for most of the time i've owned it. I fear i'm not using so much strategy as I am "EVERYONE RUN IN AT ONCE AND DESTROY THE EVIL THINGS".

It's the first Final Fantasy of the RTS genre, no? I think it's executed nicely. The only problem I will have is that I'm a completionist - I do all the sidequests available to me at any one time. But if you get to the last boss with all of the quests already done, all of the monsters in that battle will be level 99. This does not bode well for me.

But yeah, like you said, it's a really good DS game. Maybe not as good as TA2, but i'd recommend it.

Sure it has its quirks.

Also yeah i understand the dificulty.

I am in about chapter 1-3 or was it 2-1?

The one where you fight 3 guys after learning to summon for the first time.

These ugly guys are hard for melee.

The main theme that also appears for ff1 is very nicely done.

Is this one redone? or is it the same version that appears in final fantasy 2?

I didn't like the crystal theme in this game,i found it lacking.
