Ok, I know what a Wild Boar is and what to do with it... I know pretty much everything I need to know about a Wild Boar except where to find one i have played and beaten FFT prolly about 6 times and not once have i encountered a wild boar. Will someone please explain to me the most common place to encounter one.

i've never encountered one either. what i did was equip the ability train and hit a porky or the lower level pig into a critical state and at the end of the battle they will join you. then just wait till they lay an egg containing a wild boar.

You can only breed a Wild Boar, there's not a single battle where you can find him.
There are however story battles where you can meet Uribo : Finath River, and Zygolis Swamp (I think : I remember meeting one there, but I'm not sure).
Other than that, the final stage of the Deep Dungeon have a random battle with Porkies and Uribos.

You can also find a Uribo in the second-to-last map in the Coal City Battle Series, I think that's the only for-sure time you will encounter one. They're quite harmless, so I'd just kill off everyone else and have someone with capture take it out. It'll take awhile to breed up to a wild boar, but it's worth it in the end.

When you go to recruit it, though, make sure that you're either using a mediator, or that your person with Talk Skill also has Monster talk. Someone with Talk Skill can only invite human enemies...it takes Monster Talk to convince monsters to join you. Mediators have it by default though, so bring one along and give him/her the nice gun you can steal from other battles in that series.
