Hola! Time for the yearly post from yours truly! It's that magical time of year when America's true pastime is just on the horizon and our annual Fantasy league is upon us. Anyone from CoN, new or old, is free to join us. If you haven't played before, it's extremely easy to learn and only takes a few minutes a week to participate. Only thing that we ask is that if you sign up with us, you plan on sticking with it for the year and not flake out 3 weeks into the season. It diminishes the game for others and reflects negatively on yourself.
The league is set up currently for 14 teams and we will go to 16 if needed, we won't however go for more than 16 team. The rules are the same as last year and can be easily found on the league page. It's a first come first server deal, so sign up quick if you would like a guaranteed spot! Click here for the sign up page. The league ID is: 483046 And Password is: joshisacutie As with previous years, we will have a live draft, which is tentatively scheduled for Sun Aug 30 at 6:45pm EST. This is subject to change if it conflicts with team owner schedules, and will be posted here if a date change is necessary. When you make your team, please post here letting us know what your team name, I'll make an edit in this post for an easy reference. My Lovemuffins will be returning once again to destroy the competition. Chi-Towners, back and ready to roll.
I'm leaving for San Diego early monday morning from O'hare (August 24th). That Sunday evening I'm going to be working beach security at Venetian Fest in my hometown. I'm hoping to get out as early as I can (I start at 2:00), but I'm "supposed to" be there all night. sorry for the late addition guys, but i'm in like usual =) TruCruBallerz2009, nothing too new haha. I don't think I'll be able to make the draft though....I'll probably be driving back from Vegas as that time. I'll do my best to rank a bunch of players though to prevent wait time for you all. Up to 14 teams now, which filled up the league! I'm going to up the league to 16 teams if anyone else would still like to join. So if you suck at math, there are currently 2 available spots open.

Okay, so we're starting to have people not paying attention to their teams. The following people have started multiple players who are either on a bye week or were listed as Doubtful/Out.
Sorry Meghan Evil Empire Auron's Wrath If this continues, you will not be asked to return next year. While the commissioner has the ability to insert players for you, it is not our responsibility to look after your teams. Wow, I got trounced. Even if I had started Favre (who saw THAT game coming?) instead of Rodgers I still would have lost by 20+. Dag yo.
Well, Veteran's champ and the Full League runner-up ain't so bad. Good season everyone. There would be no way I would be stopped. The fact that I won makes that one loss I got even harder to swallow. I could very well have gone undefeated. bye weeks screwed me though.
It was a fantastic season, and we still had plenty of active players to keep it interesting towards the end. Now we can all sit back and watch the REAL games begin. GO COLTS! -------------------- And have you found your joy, in this near dead world of ours? |

Incorrect. I was the best team in the league and was facing the worst team in the league (Ryan's). It just so happened that he had Sydney Rice that week -- the same week he went off on the Detroit Lions for about 160 yards. I only ended up losing by like 5 after all was said and done.
