Something like 5 years ago, Dragon Quest 1 was released in Japan for Cellular phones. While I am a big Final Fantasy fan, DQ1 (aka Dragon Warrior) remains one of my all time favorites, and I would love to have it for my new phone.

Does anybody know of a way to get a cell phone game, that was released only in japan, in the US?

Who said anything about DQM? >_>

Also, just like importing most games (some recent DS games with multiple translations on the same cart notwithstanding), yes, it would be in the source language. Some people don't consider that an impediment, I suppose, eh?

With regards to the actual question, I would not see much hope of that. You would need to get a copy of the actual file and hack it into your phone, provided that the phone you have even has the correct operating system and development language support to support the game in the first place. There are a lot of variables involved, and your cellular provider here in the States is not going to be likely to want to help, as doing such a thing would almost certainly be against their terms of service.
