What console is it for?

And what genre? is it strategy rpg? strategy?

The creators released the open-source code a few years back. You can download it for Windows, Linux, or for your Mac.

The game is a mix between space exploration/strategy and one-on-one spaceship combat.

Okay, I just ordered DWG2, Diablo II, Eternal Sonata and Knights of the old republic. Those should last for a while.

With all the online gaming that goes on it's nice to take a break from the norm and settle down to some good old LAN WarCraft III. I mentioned Defence of the Ancients in another thread and I had to play it again afterwards. It's a lot of fun to play either 1v1 or 2v5 AIs, and so much better than playing it online without being able to actually talk to your allies. I'm currently training up as the Anti-Mage, although if you get off to a bad start there's no coming back.

I finished Lunar 2 (fantastic game) but I took a detour before going to BoF IV.

Right now I'm playing through the first three Dragon Warrior/Quest games, on English GBC cartridges. I'm a big DQ fan, but I've only beaten #s 4, 5, 6, and 8. I'm going to burn through the first three and then revisit my long-ignored copy of the seventh game this year. I beat through DW I really quickly, but II is taking its time.

And also, I feel another Tales kick coming on. I very recently got epsxe working on my computer again and successfully patched up my legit copy of Tales of Phantasia for the PS1 earlier today. Love it. In very similar news, I managed to fool my PSP into accepting Tales of Eternia (English) and Tales of Rebirth (Japanese) onto a 4GB memory card, so I might be working on those two sooner rather than later.

Just got Hearts of Iron: Anthology. Awesome stuff. Unfortunatley it lacked a manual, but I will hopefully get one tommorow.

Brawl: I play that a lot.

Crash Bandicoot Warped: Right now I have 14 crystals and just need to beat the 2nd racing level and I cant find N. Tropy.

It's hard as hell.

I love me some HoM&M II and III. Didn't like IV so much. The campaigns do get tricky. I avoided playing V, though, because it has some pretty nasty DRM included. I'll probably track it down and play it if and when I can find it for a very low price, maybe $10 or under.

And yeah, I'm still up to my old tricks, playing Diablo II on the computer and Dragon Warrior III on the Game Boy Color. Next is probably some PS1 Tales of Phantasia, and then Disgaea 2 on the PSP.

HoM&M Hammers of Fate. It's an expansion.

Damn Isabel! I spend weeks trying to save you (sometimes against your will) in the original Heroes, and now you're evil?

Plus, this game has the best quote ever.

Lessee...I've been playing a lot of things lately:

- Air Combat [PSX]
- Ace Combat 3 [PSX]
- Aidyn Chronicles [N64]
- D [PSX]
- The Uninvited [NES]

I've heard people say Aidyn Chronicles is one of the worst RPGs they've ever played, but once y'know what to do, it's a blast. I'd even go so far to say it stands with Ogre Battle 64 as one of the best on the system. Air Combat and D were dalliances, enjoyable without too much substance and it only took a few days (or in D's case, hours) to go through. Uninvited is just fun point-and-clickiness. I got the Orange Box [360] lately too, but my friend went into a tizzy and locked it, so guess that's off the table for awhile.

- The Uninvited [NES]

A few weeks ago I took part in a gaming trivia radio show. I won, but the ONLY question I missed was a question on The Uninvited. Grah.

I'm playing fewer games than I usually do right now, since I'm catching up in TV series and reading, heh. Just a little Disgaea 2 on the PSP and some Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 in a group of four my friend's house on his PS3.

I'm still working on Disgaea 2. Big time-sink, that.

For several days I was really enjoying Paper Mario on an N64 emulator. I had played the first chapter or two at a friend's house several years ago, but never went past it; I never owned an N64. However, the emulator's video plugin is *terrible* and flickers uncontrollably at times. The problems became so bad at the start of chapter 7 that I had to quit. I'm quite bitter about it, actually.

So, because I still can't get enough of colorful RPGs with timed hits, I've jumped back into Mother 3 when I'm emulating. At least I can run it.

I finished Uncharted 2 the other day and it's an incredible experience, anyone with a PS3 should definitely check it out. Hey Laszlow I might be getting MUA 2 for Christmas this year but I read it has some pretty lame glitches in it, one in particular that turns auto spend ability points on even after you turn it off. Do you know if they've been patching any of these?
