I saw my name on a price tag in SA(South Africa nkosi sikeleli iafrika!)

R= Rand the currency of SA
8.50=the price of the object in question
mango=the object in question also is the most eaten fresh fruit in the world beating apples pears peaches and banana's by a wide margin

That's a bloody brilliant reason. As far as I remember, the Rand is 1/14 of a GBP, so that's also a really cheap mango.

I read somewhere that mangoes are an aphrodisiac. Probably not true, but nonetheless they're a great fruit.

Nah that's just an old wives tale and probably the reason for it being the most eaten fresh fruit in the world. also R8.50 is very cheap for a mango so I bought it ate it and remembered I had a stomach bug and almost gave it back to the seller with a bite taken out of it

Mine is my initials transformed into the closest word with the Roman numeral 3 added to the end. It's pretty much my default username on any forum I sign up for. I've even used it on license plates (not currently though).

Thanks to an episode of Seinfeld I watch when I was younger, I was convinced it was an aphrodisiac.

I'm half Panamanian and half Chinese.
For those who don't speak Spanish,
El = The
Panameno = Panamanian
Chino = Chinese

A co-worker who was Salvadorian called me that once like a decade ago and it stuck.

That's actually really interesting. My dad had those games way back in '96 or so. They were mystery games that were really hard! I think he also had a "The 13th guest," though that might have been a movie..

Back on topic, you guys may have noted that my last name in my name is mispelled. "Arrowny" is what it should be. I know that now, but if i ever use this as my "Name," I keep it that way for flair.

It's obvious, ain't it?
Two words: Terra and Rocks.
I used to be an FF FANATIC, not just fan. And I really liked Terra from FFVI
So, I think you can figure out the rest...?

My username is a bizarre Latin/Brady Bunch/accent joke dating from high school.

Our teacher made us take declension quizzes every week like clockwork, and for some reason for a spell of about a month she kept using the verb portare. "Portare" means "to carry." My actual first name is Carrie. One of my classmates, upon receiving the fifth quiz with this verb, couldn't help but exclaim, "Carry, carry, carry! I'm getting sick of 'carry', magistra!"

I looked up from my quiz to this bizarre "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!" type outburst and tried to figure out what I'd done to upset my classmate. It took me a minute to figure out that he was talking about the verb and not me, and the class decided to give me a new name to end any future confusion.

'Porto' would have been the most correct way to go, seeing as it means 'I carry,' but it was nixed on the grounds of being too masculine. 'Porta' was out as well, because it means 'port.' Someone eventually said to heck with it, and I was rechristened 'Portia.' My classmates eventually forgot my real name and I wound up just answering to my new name to avoid any more "Who's on First" routines.

I just tacked 'Mea' in front because I liked the way it looks and it's the feminine version of "my." And lot of the time I wind up aliding the vowels in "Am I" and making it sound like "my," so everytime I log on anywhere it's a really roundabout "know thyself" joke.

Sorry! That was probably too much information. wacko.gif

This ol' warhorse is a mistranslation of years-long "Super Nova" attack in FF7. People've said it sticks to their memory, so that's an added bonus.

my gamenick always was Crash.. even before that pesky Bandicoot fox stole it from me tongue.gif
but as years went by Crash became less original by the day
but hey, even my friends called me crash so i had a hard time giving it up
my skills with racing games made my friend ad ... and burn...
having to put in a first and last name with most racing games i ended up calling myself Crash Endburn witch seemed to be original again..
so i kept on using it

Second place in the 2004 Gogo Fanfiction contest. Third place in the 2009 Quiz contest.
Mog= A furry bear like creature from FFVI who dances.

Master= To complete. Finish. As in a level 99 version of the word above with all the dances and all the fancy, super awesome endgame equipment- At the time when I made the name, my favorite way of playing. (Not that it is anymore, but it wasn't bad either. I've come to find out that EVERY character is the best. See also )

Following the creation of that, I would hit creative genius I have yet to match with "MoogleGenocide", but by now it was too late. Even if I could have convinced Josh to change my name at that point (which I doubt. For reference, look at almost all of my earliest posts.) I didn't see any point in trying. I felt resigned to my name by then, and shoot, because this is the only forum I really frequent often, and because I don't use the handle anywhere else, it gives my internet identity of "MoogleGenocide" just that much more of a dark spot.

A man's got to keep his enemies from knowing his opinions about which character theme from FFVI was his favorite. unsure.gif

Nytecrawla is a butchered version of Nightcrawler, my favorite X-man. It is also worth noting that it was my call sign for the longest time when I was SF, though this was intentional.

More fun aliases I use can be found in the older thread.
