It was more of a request. That said, if you'd rather someone else run it, and no one else would like to, I'd be more than happy to do so.

No, I'd be happy to do it again. I have the stats and spreadsheets all set for it anyhow, and I've been participating in online Rare Entries games for the past five years.

So... right now we have at least 5-6 interested parties. For now, I encourage everyone reading to go over the rules on the first page of this thread and see if you'd like to play. If you're interested, please PM me saying so in the next two days. If I have at least 15 PMs then I'll run the first round on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Well, I got nine responses to this call. I figure that if I run it again then I'll have a bit more than nine, especially since people are finishing up college exams and such. So, tentatively, I'll post the topic for Rare Entries III about 24 hours from now and I'll see how it goes, with no prizes to be won since money's tight for me right now. If I don't get a decent response then it will only be one sad, solitary round, though.

EDIT: OK, I finished the prompts, and I'll have them posted as soon as Tuesday officially begins, which for me is in about 75 minutes.

I'll be in for the second game. Need some sleep now.

I have 16 entries received right now, which isn't bad, but I still want more. Since I'll be gone pretty much all day tomorrow traveling for job interviews and won't be able to look at my spreadsheets until tomorrow night, I'm going to extend the deadline an additional twelve hours to midnight tomorrow night, US Eastern Time. That gives you about 25 hours to send in entries. Get to it!

I have 13 entries now, which isn't enough if you guys want me to continue the game. You have just over 24 hours to go for this round!

EDIT: also, anyone that just gives an answer of "Kill Bill" I will write down as part 1. Same thing goes for Prehistoric Frog or Ion Cloud, but you solve that problem if you just use the names from CT SNES.

Edit: I see I'm not.

By "same thing goes for prehistoric frog and ion cloud", do you mean that you'll simply translate the names to their SNES versions as opposed to counting them as separate entries?

Yes. But if you submit an answer of "Prehistoric Frog" then I will record the answer as Rain Frog / Prehistoric Frog 1, as opposed to a Croaker or Amphibite. So far it's mostly been a non-issue, but a few people have accidentally given me illegal entries this round.

I know I should have put these out by now, but I've just had a very, very stressful past few days. I'm actually at a library now, doing research for interviews I have this week. I'm not sure when I'll post the results, but if I finish my business early today I might have them out this evening.
