Saw a thread like this in the FFVI board. I had a few, actually, for VII.

One, when I was fighting a boss. It was the boss before the submarine mission, and it stole Cloud from me. So, I had Vincent summon Neo Bahamut. So, I made up a little dialouge for Cloud while the summon was doing it's magic...

"Vincent... what the hell are you doing? ...WHY ARE YOU SUMMONING BAHAMUT? NO NO WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT--"

And yeah, it was supposed to cut out like that.

So, discuss.

Long, long ago, when I was but a lad of thirteen or fourteen, a friend and I were playing FFVII, and I think it was my first real time seeing it, if I'm not mistaken.

At any rate, he was near around the part with the Materia Beast and he and I were just playing along, taking turns being in charge, etc. and then we go to the aforementioned beasty. Well, for some reason, we had a bit of difficulty. He failed, then I failed, then he failed again, then on my next I beat him! Twas magnificent! We rejoiced! He wanted to try to beat it again and reset it! And we hadn't saved! ... d'oh...

So, after a moment's shock, we figured he may as well do it anyways and he beat the thing, no problem, first try, as if we'd never had a problem. So silly, us kids.

On that note, I think that was also the day we were sitting there playing and he turns to me and said, "Hey, you know what I just thought?"
"What?" asks I.
"I just thought 'Gee, I wonder when Greg is going to get here.'"
A moment's pause, then laughter aplenty.
Oh, silly days indeed.

Emerald WEAPON always seems to pop up in the place my brother never wants him to-right in front of the Gelnika! He's always down there morphing the enemies to get Sources, but WEAPON is always in the way so he has to really carefully drive round it. I always laugh like mad every time Emerald is there (which is about 9 times out of 10) and my brother always gets really annoyed! xD

Talk to me softly, there's something in your eyes...don't hang your head in sorrow, and please don't cry...I know how you feel inside, I've, I've been there before...something's changing inside you, and don't you know...

I hate when I'm mobbing around in the sub and I turn the corner and Emerald's right there. I always scream like a little girl and my son laughs at me and calls me a "vagina" for being afraid to fight him. He always tries to provoke me into fighting him.

I was also flying over the Golden Saucer and getting as close as I could to Ruby and imagined his frustration as I flew right over him and he could do nothing. I proceeded to bump into him and he killed me quickly thereafter.

Yeah I do that a lot, and when Ultima was around we used to just follow him in the Highwind and ram his ass and watch him scream! xD

A few years ago was about to head into Junon and chase the ship that had the Huge Materia before heading into space. However when up into the main Junon lift but then the FMV clip suddenly triggered of Cloud summoning the Black Materia back in the Northern crater '' Promised land '' then the lift just stopped and took Cloud of the main room like normal.

Then reset the console and just like before went into the Junon lift but instead it played the main clip of the carry-wagon heading up into the Gold Saucer theme park..

and just sat there thinking- whaaatt ? 0__O'''

You can make all these happen by using a disc-swapping trick on the PSX or PS2. If you load up the game on, say, the first disc, then open the disc tray and put in the second disc, the game will run as normal throughout but the FMVs will all be different. Rather than showing the FMVs from the first disc they will all load from the second.

The best for me is when Cloud runs over the top of the northern crater and we're expecting to see the storm etc, instead there is a giant golden statue of Dio from the Gold Saucer! Huge laugh.
