Hey everyone, I looked up how to get each limit break for all the characters, to get some I need to perform the break a number of times before I can progress... Late in the game this is proving to be a time consumer. My question is; for example, Cid needs to perform the Dragon Dive 7 times before getting Big Brawl. I know for a fact if you do the battle game in the golden saucer you go in with full break, use it and then at the end you still have it. In theory can I do this 6 times and then go into the world and use it? Will that count as the 7th time?? Thank you in advance!

That's a good question. I'm fairly sure what happens in the battle square stays in the battle square. I've tried morphing and stealing from monsters in there but you can't take the items with you. Also you can't learn Enemy Skills in there either. With that in mind, its unlikely to work. It's still worth a shot though.
A good way of learning limits is to equip Cover with the right character so that most or all attacks hit him/her and use a Hyper item on them to go into Fury status. Fury means the limit bar will charge faster, and some other side effects. You could also use Haste or a Speed Drink on the enemies you're fighting in order to make them attack you faster. That's a sure way of learning your moves quickly. Probably faster than the battle square idea. -------------------- Scepticism, that dry rot of the intellect, had not left one entire idea in his mind. Me on the Starcraft. |

Manipulate an enemy and use them to attack the same character over and over again.
