Whether it's little action games, RPG Making, FPS additions and level making, Little Big Planet, whatever. I've been into the RPG Making community for quite some time, and it's pretty big! I love making my own game, and playing other homebrew games. Anyone else into game making?

When I was 11, I stumbled onto an RPG Maker 95 site and downloaded the program. I thought it was the coolest thing I've ever gotten as a child. Then I got 2000 then 2003, which featured an ATB system, much similar to the more popular FInal Fantsay titles and had improved resources.

I still use that thingg, and I'm making a game with it to show it at a friend's forum. The problem is it takes too long and I (don't like to) proscrastinate very very often. THat's why I still haven't finished to this day.

I make quite a lot of stuff on the Warcaft III world editor. It's amazing how much can be done on that thing. Recently I've just been making quick silly maps which are mostly cinematic to email to a friend. Best one recently: Tyrande summons the druids of the claw to attack the scourge. Their leader says "We're on strike!" and they all fly away as ravens. I edited their speech -from "Where shall I strike?" etc so that they actually say it.

Back in the day, I started some very ambitious projects which I've never got round to finishing. The best was an FFIX world map where you basically choose a hero (many were NPCs in the PSX game) and explore. I included everything from the game that I thought would be fun. In the end, I had to scrap it because the proportions of the Mist Continent and the Outers were wrong. When I have time I'm definitely going to start that again. Not only was it fun to make, it was really fun to play!

I make games, sad to say though I'm a better GFX designer for games than an actual game designer. I got some of the RPGmakers, I also bought RPG XP some months ago and my recent addition. My best game was a Sci-Fi Fantasy game called 'Shadow Saga' it was kinda like Final Fantasy I guess, without the ATB system.

Other game makers I used where the Heroes of Might & Magic III game creator. It was quite detailled and you could add your own text. I made a complete finished game called 'The Battle for Ravendale' until my fried computer harddrive made short work of it.

From what i remember, it was about a legendary army who quelled the forces of darkness many centuries ago. The army extinct, a new evil arises Lyria, Lizardman and Alchemist along with her dark army. A small province of 'N'vada' falls, the Heros hometown (I forget his name) and the next target is the Royal city of Ravendale. You have to recreate the legendary army of long times past and defeat her and her minions. It had like, 15+ hours of play in it. Shame :S The plot was a bit more niche than that, but thats most i can remember.

Anyone making an Final Fantasy Fangame and need a logo, I can make one. X3

I've been coming with ideas for games for many years now, ranging from Mega-Man-style platformers to console RPGs to castletroids. I lack programming ability, though, and additionally, I've grown to realize that some ideas just don't go anywhere.

Yes.

Game development is one of my favourite topics. You can use alot of different programs to create games: RPG Maker, Eclipse, and vbGORE are a few of my favourites.
