i named mine after certain game characters and names that i like the meaning to
Locke-Loki (gafter the god) Terra-Aura (i relised afterwords sabin has a attack called aura blast so ya lol) Celes-Kiara (suppose to been little dark star i dunno if its true o r not but it has a nice rin g to it) Edgar-Gene (guy from a well known game) Sabin-Guy (tribuite to the ff2 character) Gau-bob (just because its bob) Cyan-Juste (castlevania anyone?) Shadow-Sasuke (after the sword not the ninja) Mog-Kupo ( cause thats what moogles do) Umaro-Snow ( after the new charter in ff13) Relm-Luca ( named after the dwarf princess) Setzer-Dante ( who doesnt know the poet dante) Gogo-Mr X ( i couldnt think of anything else) Strago- Amano (after the well known artist) -------------------- I remember... That night, we talked for the first time. I didn't know it then, but after that night, everything changed. For everyone... For me... ~Tidus |

If I ever name them, I just give them the names of people I know. Some of them actually work well. My cousin's full name, Christopher, suits a king. -------------------- |

I kept them most of them the same too, except for Gau who I named Gui after a Brazilian guy I know and Umaro and named Tariq after a large Pakistani guy I know.

ok this is what i named my characters...
Terra-Terra Celes-Snow Locke-Jason Shadow-Shadow  (lvl 56-highest lvl of all character ATM)Mog-Mog Umaro-Umaro Cyan-Cyan Strago-Strago Gau-Thou (lol!!!! he says it once you meet with him first time on the veltd) Realm-Realm Gogo-Mimic Sabin-Hector Edgar-Gerad (fit well and noticed that it was his name in WOR...Coincidence) Setzer-Setzer i think thats all  -------------------- remember ones like me have killed my emotions... SHADOW LVL 87 HP: 9999/9999 MP: 900/900 STR:104 shadow is rocking out loud right now!!!! |

Terra - Valery
Locke - Matt Edgar- Jascal Sabin- Deran Celes- Kiara (She looks almost EXACTLY looks like one of my own fanmade chars, thus the name) Shadow- Jingyu Setzer- Cartal (Wanted Cartalle, but didn't fit. Still works all the same) Mog- Moggy Gau- Zale Rest of the characters retain the same name. |

I go 1 of 2 ways. Either I name everyone exotically, or I just use variations on the given name.
Ex: Terra- Tera, or Terana OR Terra- Zylia |

I name them names I like or keep them as is.
I think I once played through with Celes as Ann. Cyan has been Dylan. Locke was Joey. Terra was Rina. Nothing special  -------------------- You're telling me that there's no hope. I'm telling you you're wrong. |

Considering I only started playing FFVI a few days ago. |
