I saw some pictures of Firion from FF2 and Dissidia, and I like the way he wore his bandana. I think there's like 3 of them on his head. How'd he do it like that, and how does it stay up?

Well, when you're simply not bound by reality as to what you wear, I'd say you could do it however you like. Perhaps with brass tacks.

(Or maybe it's just one bandana made of several different cloths and it's clipped to his head. The world will never know.)

My first thought was just that the bandana was multi colored. If I were gonna cosplay as him (no, I don't cosplay), I would probably sew together a few bandanas of different color schemes.

Looks to me like it has some kind of Circlet. Atleast in the close up, you can see the gem in the middle of his forehead has some kind of wire or something going out to the left. *shrug*

I guess the easy answer though, is "A wizard did it." It's magical, don't ask questions.

If you are actually trying to replicate it..
Bobby pins.. or even just regular clips.
What's to say it's not a solid hat and doesn't just sit on his head, by the way? (other than the awkward shape)

I think its just a multicolored cloth folded in the right places in the ancient art of ORIGAMMI! or maybe he just keeps it on with pure skills of balance.
