Hello,
First time post. Long time FF6 player. I have two questions about the Cursed Shield. 1. Does unequipping/equipping it reset the counter or fiddle with that in any way? 2. The character who has it equipped is dead when the battle is won. Does this battle count? Thank you for your time. |

Unequiping it does not affect it.

I've been passing the shield around the past two hours while leveling with the dinos and was going to find out one way or another. (original cart btw) |

Is there some sort of in game counter where I can see how many battles I have won with the shield so far? I am getting tired of leveling up.

Unfortunately, there is no in-game counter for the Cursed Shield, so you would have needed to count. There may be some way to hack a ROM to find out your current total, but in the time that would take, you could also win a bunch more battles.
