hey everyone.

i downloaded fftedit yesterday and just started making .gme files. The only problem is, I do not know where to save them to make the file show up on fft. I use epsxe, on my COMPUTER, since I do not have and do not plan on buying a dexdrive. Is there a specific place to save it? i tried saving it on the E Drive (THIS IS NOT AN ISO, but a CDROM), but it did not show up on the game.

help asap please? smile.gif

edit: the question is where to save the program, what format, and if a different one, can someone send post it?

OK.  Firstly, you won't need to do any file conversions, ePSXe recognizes .gme files.Secondly, go to your ePSXe\memcards folder. This is where you want to put your edited .gme's.Thirdly, open ePSXe and and go to config -> memory cards.Lastly, choose a slot (1 or 2) and choose your .gme file from the list.Mine is called "FFTgame.gme", in slot 2.  If you have a pre-existing game you'd like to edit, load it from the .mcr slot and save it to the .gme slot.

Then, have fun. I've beaten, explored, and (imho) created perfect parties without cheating, so this time around I'm starting with Reis, Lede, Holy Knight Delita, Cloud, and Balmafula (with some JP boosts to make up for her empty Squire class). Assassins are not quite so overpowered as I thought. A materia blade in the first fight, however...
