http://thedailywtf.com/Articles/Anatomii-of-a-Hack.aspx
Dailywtf has become over the past few months one of my favorite sites; most of the articles have to do with things that won't really appeal to most of CoN's audience aside from perhaps the Error'd section, but this article popping up in my Live Bookmark this morning made me smile - it's entertaining both from a development perspective and from gaming. I, for one, had no idea how easy it was to do what is being done with a Wii, and certainly no idea how passive-aggressive the big N is about it. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? Or perhaps buying a really good looking shirt? |

It's incredibly easy to do. I've been playing old Lucasarts adventure games on my TV with the Wiimote for a while now. Frankly, it's probably the most fun I've had with my system.
(That's not to say I don't love me some Wii games. Galaxy, Boom Blox, and Zack & Wiki I will never part with, but Day of the Tentacle > *) -------------------- With the lights out It's less dangerous |
