so instead of having to hunt down all of the primers, i decided to load them from another file. i have them all, and rin still wont give me my reward on the airship. ive been to every area in the game besides sin, including the secret areas, like the omega ruins and baaj temple. how do i fix this.

EDIT: I havent fully explored the omega ruins, if thats the problem.

id just say make sure on the key items page that you dont have any primers missing, so count all the alphabet! Could be something to do with the ruins, im nearly at that point... so ill chck

I believe there's only 1 in Omega ruins, and it's fairly easy to find. The problem comes from the Home ones, there are i think 3 at the Al Bhed Home, all of which are one-chance only.

Edit

However, you can use compilation orbs, and a new game, to get those items in your current game.

i know, i have every single one. i checked and re-checked. i got the omega ruins one and the home ones in a previous file and get them all back through the compilation spheres or whatever they are. i am not missing any of them, i just want to know why rin hasnt given me my reward

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure, Primers I-XXVI, if so, then check again to see if you haven't already gotten the reward. Now, if you HAVE all of them, and you DON'T have the reward... then I can not help you I guess. My only other possible explanation is that there may be some sort of story event going on atm and thus you can't talk to Rin normally.

well, i have to go fight sin, so it cant be a story thing, and yes, i have every single primer, and still no reward
