This is the first time I've played this game, and I'm a bit confused. I'm at the Olympus Coliseum trying to complete the Phil Cup. I finished the base tournament, the Sora-solo and the one with the time limit. Now the little devil guy is telling me to choose my opponent, and the opponents are all reruns. I can't open the chest in the Lobby. Have I won the cup? Do I get the treasure later?

you open the chest MUCH later, and you if you beat the phil cup, just the normal one, you should get a plaque or something like that. there are four tournaments.

So that means I haven't won yet. Do I have to fight all the matches one-by-one in the "choose your opponent" screen?

no, if you did the cup where you fight the 10 people in a row, you got that cup. there are three others that you unlock by playing through the game.

Funnily enough, no part of Olympus Coliseum is mandatory in any way. You gain access to the next tournament I believe after or before completing the story events in Agrabah (Aladdin's world).
