laszlow casts Kabump! You are victorious!

I took a break from Disgaea 2 awhile ago and I'm pretty much demolishing my new file on Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. I have eleven Majins, all at level 2500-3000 and with another 2000 levels stored, and earlier this evening I got a Yoshitsuna and defeated Baal (taking his Nemesis and Super Robo Suit while I was at it). Right now I'm trying to get the Yoshi and SRS up to level 100 in the Item World (and steal another one of each smile.gif).

With multiplayer, my friends and I mostly play SSB Brawl, King of Fighters XI, Hokuto no Ken, and the occasional Super Turbo or Third Strike. I played a lot of each of those last weekend, and I have the QCF thumb blisters to prove it.

Final Fantasy X (actually for the first time), and if I'm getting frustrated, I'll pop in Prince of Persia, or play Spider Solitaire on the computer.

King of Fighters XI, SF3: Third Strike and Naruto Shippuuden: Narutimate Accel 2 are also in constant use.

Lately most of my (weekend) gaming time has been taken up by World of Warcraft. Our small guild now has Gruul on farm, and we're starting in on Magtheridon next week. Don't laugh too hard, we're very very casual. smile.gif

Other than that, the only other game I've been playing is Seiken Densetsu 3 [again]. This time with Kevin, Hawk, and Carlie. I'm on the section with the 8 God Beasts you can fight in any order, and it's going really smoothly.

Oh, and I picked up Quake Wars for 30 bucks on Steam, and have played a few rounds with bots. It seems like it would take a lot of... time investment(?) to get good, but it's pretty cool. Unfortunately, it's on my gaming computer and I don't have access to that during the week. sad.gif

Well, you could say that over the past few days I've been obsessing with The World Ends With You. I'm on the Third floor of Pork City on Another day, and Ive gained about 18 levels since friday night. Once I finish Pork City I'll have all the bonus stuff done.

And Starcraft. And Brawl. Why not?

With you, it seems like the industry puts out "one of the best gamers ever" every two to three weeks....

Right now I'm playing God of War: Chains of Olympus on Spartan difficulty and going through some of my old SNES and Genesis emulator games - Kirby Super Star, The Lost Vikings, and Dynamite Headdy, mostly.

Lately I've been so busy that I haven't played any games at all. It just hit me the other day that there was a giant hole in my life where RPGs used to be tongue.gif .

ANYWAY, I decided I'd get warmed up with another playthrough of Vagrant Story. After a little over 9 hours I'm at the Great Cathedral already, which is considerably faster than my first playthrough. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to try to max out this file or not. I have Wakizashi, all Hoplite equipment, and HP over 400, but I haven't gotten to the iron maiden or the gold+silver keys yet.

I bought Rock Band a month ago, but due to my tv being in HD limbo - it's HD 'capable' cause it was bought just when HD was starting to pop up - the had to be set manually and I could never get it right. All this talk of RB2 (repeat: I WANT THAT F*CKING DRUM SET!) got me off'n my ass and finally got it properly calibrated. Just beat drums on medium, and gonna make it a point to play at least one song per day after work. I could definitely use the exercise. tongue.gif

I'm currently in the middle of my 3rd consecutive playthrough of the 7th Saga, the hardest RPG ever created. I just beat it with Lux solo (Monmo is the hardest boss in the entire game when you can only do 1 damage to him per turn), and before that I beat it with just Olvan. I am now trying to beat it with just Lejes. It's not that easy guys, it's not that easy guys.

I've also been playing a little bit of Pokemon recently. And up until like last week I was playing Diablo II, but I got bored of that game again when I beat the ubers with a Singer and a Whirlwind Barb. That's quite low.

Right now I started my first playthrough of Chrono Trigger and I am currently loving it. In fact I rommed it up Tuesday and I already have 11 hours in. And I'm playing a little FFTA2 when I'm not on the computer.

I just realized how much of a squenix fanboy I am.
