Ok folks most of you have seen my fanfics i've done and am still working on.

I need a few opinions about whether or not to start the entire story about Final Fantasy 6, from start to finish including the dragons den and maybe the soul shrine.

Anyways it'll be a little while since i have other ones i need to finish. I'll check back here later to see if its a good idea

If you mean a novelisation-style story of FF6, you're not the first to try, and of the hundreds, no, thousands who try to write a fan-novelisation of the whole game, nearly all have given up at some point. It's a long process, you find yourself having to double and triple check canon or whatever.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but nor is it really a "good" idea. If you want the challenge of it, try.

oh i look forward to the challenge besides its a project i been planning on doing for some time now, i just wanted to see if its a good idea

... Personally, I would agree with Del. Really, it's just such a large project that you would need a TON of disciplin and motivation just to make it through. Not to mention you would have to keep the quality of writing high, or otherwise no one would want to read such a long story, and, as Del said, you would also need to consult game script and canon often to ensure that your work is legitimate. It's just one of those projects that will loose steam eventually and end up dying, in my humble opinion. There's a ton of work involved, especially since its FFVI, and there are tons of characters and locations to develop.
