i just got bought this for my birthday and has taken me a week to complete half. I think its really good and i like when you cant defeat a boss you can do missions to level yourself up. The storyline could be a little deeper and more fran and bathier at the start would have been nice, but i think the little bits make the repetitiveness easier to deal with. i think if the converted it to ps2 (i dont like ps3 =P, too expensive) and made the storyline really deep it could be the perfect sequel to the perfect game ( even if you do have to use sooooo many quickenings and level up to defeat bosses, tiamat took a whole day!)lolz does anyone else have this and think its a great little gem!?

I don't have it yet, but I certainly do want it. Balthier and Fran is one of my favorite FF couples, so I definitely wouldn't mind more scenes of them. Even if the rest is crap (I heard the game favors Vaan and Penelo as a couple, which dissapoints me) I think I'll be satisfied by it, because of that.

It's got decent reception from FFXII fans (as far as I know), and I think it's nice that it's just a small DS game. I don't think it needs a whole PS2 remake.

I got this a while back, and I find it a pleasant change from the normal Battle system. I'm not saying I hated the old style, but I don't hate the FFXII RW style. It's more... Command And Conquer-ish.

Moving on, I too enjoy how you can retake missions to level up. Would make sense seeing as in previous games you can just run around in circles and kill monsters for EXP. I enjoy the storyline even though I haven't played the original FFXII. I suppose I should just for the sake of it, but from what I've played, it doesn't seem to draw from FFXII so much.

it does for about one mission, then puts it to rest. but any way, i thought it could've been better, but it was an alright game...even if it was really kiddy
