Emerald Weapon- Emerald Shoot

When I fight w/ Emerald Weapon, everytime I mime Cloud's W-summon KotR using each character, Ruby goes first and does Emerald Shoot. After Cloud finishes his turn, Emerald uses the Emerald Shoot on one of my characters. By the 2nd turn, he kills off one member, and I'm forced to start over. Anything suggestions please?
Cloud lvl 99, 7360 HP Weapon- ultima assec- barrier Phoenix + Final Attack, mime + counter, w-summon +KotR Tifa lvl 99, 8869 HP Mime + Counter, Underwater Weapon= premium heart Cid lvl 99, 8987 HP Weapon- Schmitar assec- reflect ring Mime + Command |

have one person healing and have another with quadra+KOTR.....i beat him easily with this combo, then have the person after the KOTR person miming

If you wanna do it the easy way, then just "W ITEMIZE" your megalixirs until you have 99 of them, instead of casting white magic just use megalixirs and you have no problems when Emerald starts sucking the HP and MP out of you. Remembeer, the less materia you have the better!

Gotten close before, just remember, less is more.
I had like 2 materia on any char tops, o wells. P.S: Master Materia before Emerald Weapon is a B**** to get! Only got me the red one. Dunno, how much damage you do with a hit? Never tried it, but you may could link element attack with bolt to inflict more damage because it is his weakness.
