An RPG for the DS that's written by Masato Kato (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears), scored by Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Xenogears), and has character designs by Kunihiko Takada (Xenogears, Xenosaga). Looks very interesting. Plus I've been meaning to get an rpg for my DS which isn't FF.

Never heard of it before, but the crew looks solid and I've been waiting for a new, fresh RPG for a while. Seems like I'll have to buy myself a DS after all ;)

These world destruction titles seem popular lately. This game looks like it could have tons of potential. I don't really like the character names, they seem a bit tacky, but what can you do? I'm a huge fan of Xenogears too and the Chrono games are probably still up there in my top pant wetting gaming experiences. If this game can come close to the awesome of those games, I'll be content. It'd be nice to have more RPGs for my DS anyways. The wait for Tactics Advance 2 and FFIV DS is getting pretty tiring.

The characters listed in the wiki...
They have quite interesting backgrounds. He has destructive powers... and he doesn't know why. That's pretty dangerous. My decision about skipping the DS in the line of handhelds is so going to haunt me. Oh well, a few points.
1: The graphics looks kinda like the Golden Sun graphics, which is kinda awesome, i love how they could give them little sprites so much emotion  .2: The battle-system sounds interesting. 3: Their names are cool O.o... Wahey! Anyone remember this thread, from six months ago? Well, the game came out in Japan a couple of weeks ago, and last weekend at TGS a rep from Sega assured fans that the United States is getting the game! Source. We'll probably get it sometime next year, but we have no date as of yet. That wikipedia link from the first post also has MANY more details to it now, but be wary of spoilers.

I missed this topic six months sgo (somehow) but I think this game sounds great. It's unfortunate how long it's taking to get it over here because by the time it comes out, I'll have forgotten about it. I really want a good game now.
