Hmm.. my Final Fantasy Tactics' songs is: Backfire, Antipyretic, Random Waltz, Trisection, Apoplexy and Battle on the Bridge.

Very nice post! First off, I think FFT has the best soundtrack of any game i have ever played before. Anyways, I love all of the songs so its really hard to pick one. I think I will have to say "Under the Stars". I still remember that song from my battle against Izlude...memories.

Haven't gotten far in the game. I'm at Fort Zeakdon. This game has some great songs too. But My favorites would have to be Random Walts, Antipyretic, Decisive Battle (which is the one in Dorter Slum)

holy angel's theme, tension, decisive battle, and unavoidable battle are probably my favorites, i used to enjoy random waltz but hearing the song way too often kind of ruined it for me. BTW good topic and link

I'd have to go with Decisive Battle. Random Waltz and Under the Stars are also great.

I like Delita's Theme, Decisive Battle, Battle On The Bridge, Thunder God Cid, and Dycedarg's Theme have to be my top 5.

Alma's Theme and Pray are just beautiful songs that deserve an honorable mention.

Many of the story battles are my favorites. I've actually made various ringtones out of Antipyretic, Antidote, Decisive Battle, and Trisection, those four being my favorites in the game.

Run Past Through The Plain is my fave. In Pursuit, Trisection, and Back Fire are quite nice, as well.

Console RPG Cliches

"Antidote" -- the one that plays in Olan's Goland battle -- is my personal favorite, but really, if there's a battle tune on the soundtrack that I hate, I can't think of one. Antipyretic and the poach shop themes are pretty good, too.

HA! Ya, only about 400 times or so, I listen to the FFT soundtrack all the time on my way to or from work. I have the original (ebay) and over half of it's in Japanese so I have few clues as to the name of some of the songs... "Run Past Through the Plain" is my no. 2.

I like The Pervert (the Zodiac monster battles, why is it named that? ) probably best of all, it just sounds so evil. I also like Character Introductions, Apoplexy (I see that's pretty popular), Trisection, Tension 1, Tutorial, and Antidote best, but there really aren't any I DISLIKE. This has one of the best sound tracks ever, even better than FFIX (the sound track was my favorite thing about that game). Back about... four or five years ago a friend of mine burnt me a copy of the soundtrack, took two discs but its soooooo worth it.

I believe the proper name of that one is "The Impure," though, in a broader sense, "pervert" makes sense, too.

I guess we can chalk it up to good old fashion mistranslation. Cause on the list in the link provided by the person who started this thread, it's titled "The Pervert". Perverted would work better, but after spending a year at college with a japanese friend, I can understand how mistranslations make it into games all the time.

My favorite is 'Antidote'

I love the soundtrack for this game. I think my favourite two tracks are "Under the Stars" and "Thunder God Cid", but it is really hard to choose.

Enjoyed them all.

In order to find your oppenent's weakness, you must first learn their pattern. Once you know their pattern, you can build a counter strategy.

There's serveral songs in the gaem that could contend for the best, but i personally enjoy Battle on the Bridge the most.

It's a little ridiculous how many times i've heard these songs over and over (especially for long peroids of time for grinding purposes) and i never get sick of them.

Opening theme and the fight with Izlude in the underground library are my favs.

The soundtrack for this game is pretty good, but I personally like FFTA's soundtrack better.

I usually play with my Zune on with the volume on the game down.
