Is there a way to prevent the characters not in your party from levelling up?
Would it work if I killed them, then switched them out? -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

If a character is dead, in zombie status or turned into stone (I think), it won't recieve any experience points, thus not gaining any levels. Also, if a character only rests in the airship instead of fighting in the field, they won't gain anything. I think that is the only way to do it.

The last time your character's levels are averaged and raised is when that particular character is recruited in the WOR. Â Until then, if you want the most out of your Espers, keep your levels as low as possible.

Oh. I just kept seeing the levels shoot up, but never payed attention to it. After seeing it, I thought FF7 took this exactly as it originally was.
Thank You. -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |
