Odd Non-Gameplay Setzer Question

Originally, I thought Setzer was old with his white hair and pale skin. But I came upon a factoid on an FAQ on Gamefaqs.
'Setzer is an albino.' ...It makes sense...I guess. But I want to know if there's any thing to verify it. Setzer's canon age is listed as 27. I saw it in an old strategy guide. Plus the way his characters is in the game. That makes two verifications.

I think his menu pic works as evidence. He has a young face and very pale complexion. I just thought he didn't go out in the sun much.

I would assume that it's just the complexion squenix gave his design. but don't albinos have to have pink eyes?

I'd presume this is simply fan speculation based upon his pale physical appearance, considering that it doesn't say anything about this in the game or its manual. Looking at his menu pic in the avatars gallery, his eyes appear to be normal so if that's any indicator, it'd be against the Albino theory.
Yes, his skin is very quite pale but that could simply be a racial difference, as opposed to an unusual condition. And yes, again his hair is lacking in color but again, this can't mean all too much as it's a fantasy setting, where people can have any hair color within the visible light spectrum. In the very next Final Fantasy after, you have Sephiroth who has a very similar color scheme to Setzer, though with admittedly more skin pigmentation. One thing is certain however, he doesn't seem to use any protection against the sun when he's outdoors.... -------------------- |

And Setzer is outdoors a lot. He spends his days on the deck of an airship. You're going to look pretty weathered out there.

His casino, it's not much of one just a blackjack table and some slots, I think he invites powerful people to play and then screws them out of the cash.....what do you think his airship runs on anyway?

Well i've read many fanfics, and made a few of my own not posted yet, saying he's albino. however in mine he's just a guy with pale skin and many scars.

I just think Setzer is a guy who rarely sees daylight on his airship, my assumption is albino. never mind the red eyes.

Well, if you observe his Amano design, he seems to be more of a "pretty" man compared to Sabin, and Edgar, who seem to reek of virility. Locke is just plain scrawny. I think he fits the definition, actually.
