Drill.  The little hat Edgar wears when using the drill fascinates me.  And, as so many others have pointed out, it is very effective and reliable.

Actually, I like all of Edgar's weapons except for Flash (because it's so specific on which enemie's it's effective against).  The Drill is just the funniest.

:P I seem to base a lot of my answers on what makes me laugh the most.

air anchor. no contest. it makes the enemies suicidal, so its just plain cool. in a close second was the chainsaw and drill, but i think i like the drill better cuz you can use it on a boss without any failure rate.

I went with the chainsaw because of its easy access to big damage early in the game.

I'll have to go with the Air Anchor. I like it because of the guaranteed kill if it hits. I know some people will argue that you have to wait until an monster attacks before they will be killed, but by the time you get the tool your levels should be high enough to take at least one hit.  "Move again and you're dust"

...The chainsaw would be a close second though

When Edgar uses the chainsaw, he just looks cool (especially the Jason hockey mask!).

I had to go with the Debrilatator.

Instant weakness.  Use this three times and you should be able to rock any monster, and if a monster uses an element to cure itself...use the 'insta weakness' and he's whomp himself...bah hah hah hah hah hah hah haw...

I like the Chainsaw the most. Huge damage. If you miss with the instant death thing, have someone else cast a spell or something!

But I also like Flash. Not that it is especially useful, but it's very cool looking.

Chainsaw makes things dead.  I like that.  It's only weakness is trying to insta-kill the undead, and Celes + big fire spell usually can take care of that.  Weakness covered.

Chainsaw, because it's the only Tool that has two different attacks, and because it's powerful. Also, the first time I got it, I was really excited, because it took me long time to figure out what to do with the information you get in Zozo.

I tended to use the Chainsaw the most.

Chainsaw.  It showed us the mass-murderer inside the supposedly gentle and kind King Edgar.  Look out when he puts on the mask and goes crazy!

I like the chainsaw it really strong.

I always liked the chainsaw.  The instant death attack was great, and Edgar's mask was just awesome  

I like the "Chainsaw" for its brutal power. The only disadvantage is that it often misses when doing the one-hit-kill attack.

I like the noise blaster. It's fun and it's very usefull...

Did all people forget that drill pierces defense? Letting Edgar do his maximum damage each time? It's really usefull throughout the game. Second is (ofcourse) debilitator, creating other weaknesses then 'pearl' on bosses wich i never manage to get except on the end of the game -.-

Yeah, yeah, Chainsaw is great, Chainsaw is wonderful, Chainsaw reigns supreme. And I won't dispute that--I love the thing too. But my vote goes to Air Anchor.

I'll put it this way. A few points of damage is a small price to pay to watch my enemies literally dissolve into dust right afterwards. It's karma, I guess. And it makes me giggle.

Favorite tool is definately drill. I also do use the flash and bio blaster if enemy is weak to poison like Phunbaba.

I would have to go with the Air Anchor. The enemy's lack of intelligence is extremely satisfying. Even after it gives the enemy the message "Move, and you're dust!" the enemy attacks on his turn without hesitation.

Shhhh! I'm trying to hear the voices!

I use the Bio Blaster and the Crossbow most at the beginning. Once I have the Chainsaw though I use that most of the time, occasionally substituting it for the Crossbow if I'm fighting lots of enemies.

i used auto crossbo all the way in the game coz of the stable damage on enemy.
auto crossbow + flame dancer will usually wipe out everything in one turn.
