I made this poll because Sabin is my # 1.
I also didn't see a poll like this so i decided to make it. laugh.gif

Don't vote for like whats the best or most useful, vote for which is your favorite because of its badassity.

I personally enjoy the airblade, though i thought it was very funny how sabin suplexed a train, i would always rub it in to my cousin "I bet edgar couldn't do that!"

Also I had lots of fun with his blitz especially on Celes when she casts runic tongue.gif SLAM her for no dmg!

Pummel is the best because of the visuals and the sound effects. Somebody destroying something with 30 punches in 3 seconds.. too awesome.

Also, it's one of the easiest and quickest to perform.

Suplex, it causes great damage like pummel, and you can use it from the beginning. Matter of fact, I think it causes more.

OH badassity? i didn't read that the first time.

My answer, Suplex, easily, how the hell does Sabin suplex a train?!?!?! We will likely never know, but it's sheer badasness is unmatched. Period.

Aura Bolt/Cannon...no question. The traditional quarter-circle role is iconic, it's holy element, and it just looks cool.

It's the attack that essentially takes Sabin through the entire game until he gets Bum/Phantom Rush.

I agree. Suplexing a train? What's cooler than that? Other than Aurabolt, which is what I voted for.

The first two i learned was pummel and suplex, but pummel was always reliable because you couldnt always use suplex like on certain monsters or bosses but you can use it on that train! thumbup.gif

Sabin's my # 1 as i metioned before mainly because i like the power house guys like Sabin, Cyan, Shadow, and maybe Gau?

think of how much differnt sabin would be if he carried a sword, thatd would totally change him.

yes, because monk's don't carry swords, he'd be completely different.

Mantra and Spiraler I can't remember ever using.
I enjoyed using Suplex and Aura Bolt but not as much as some others.

Any of these could've had my vote:

Pummel - beastly
Air Blade - again, beastly
Fire Dance - probably used this the most against multiple enemies.
Bum Rush - used this all the time once acquired, the BOOM BOOM and spinning around get it my vote.

Badass? Suplexing large objects like trains.

Favorite? Mantra. I have a defensive approach. Cure ring for auto-regen, Mantra keeps everyone else up. The other three can focus on offense and Sabin can slip some Fire Dance/Air Blade in if everyone else is healthy.

I found aura bolt to be quite useful in the beginning of the game(especially against Ultros), fire dance once you got to Zozo, but Bum Rush was definitely the best.

Aurabolt's extremely useful the whole game. That's the good thing about the Blitz attacks, unlike other skills, they all remain useful throughout the game.

Air Blade without a doubt. It's one of the most powerful attacks that targets all enemies, and wind is one of those "under the radar" elementals, which makes it awesome.

I liked Aurabolt. It was my default Blitz when I don't have a specific need for one of the other ones, until I get Bum Rush.

Plus, it's Holy, which is my favorite element in the majority of games.

Pummel!
It's easy. I could use other moves, but I get lazy most of the time.
Besides, it still ranks up some hardcore damage.
So whether I'm lazy or not, it's really useful!

Fire dance, i always leveled up my characters on the raft by leaving the game on 'auto fight' with my turbo controller with edgar using auto crossbow, terra and sabin fight, and bannon health, so when i fought ultros i always had two people with fire attacks, and fire dance was the blitz attack i always used until i got bum/phantom rush.

(plus I am completely obsessed with fire and swords, so i like firedance because of it's element!)

Speaking of blitzes, does it not seriously bum anybody else out that they renamed Bum Rush to Phantom Rush in the GBA versoin?

So utterly disappointing!

Most of the Blitzes were fun, but after I received the "Offering" I pretty much abandoned them for the "Genji Glove" + "Offering" setup. This did way more damage than Bum Rush, so it seemed pointless to do anything other than just Fight.

Not only does Sabin look like Guile...

Pummel = E. Honda's Hundred Hand Slap
Aurabolt = Ryu / Ken (Haduken)
Suplex = Zangief's Suplex (stretching it)
Air Blade = Guile's Sonic Boom

Capcom should sue Square.

Sabin's my number 2. When you train everyone enough, the blitz isn't s awesome as it was when Sabin was the only one inflicting 9999.

I can equip Locke with offering and the Atma weapon. He is level 99. 9999 HP and 99 vigor. He'll hit 4 times with 9999. Before I trained Celes(another amazing character, when you master using runic) I equiped him with the Genji glove, illumina and Atma Weapon. He would hit enemies 8 times with 9999. Took one turn for me to beat Kefka like that.

I was gonna say, Spiraler in the Colosseum; it's his most awesome technique!

Try using the Fixed dice with Setzer along with the offering, not always the best, but usually comes up with over 10,000. Cyan with a Scimitar/Tempest genji/offering setup can be fun, too. But the best, by far, is Locke/Terra/Celes/Edgar with the Illumina/Atma genji/offering-- 8 attacks for 9999! Sometimes extra with Illumina's holy attack! Whew, nasty!
