Quina looks awesome! And this picture of Edge and Rydia is so emotional, I really like it.

To be honest I'm at a loss for words.
This is all great. it even has a slight Amano feel to it. (you pulled it off well) my favorite out of what I've seen so far is the Edge+Rydia art. Keep it up This post has been edited by Cloud_Strife510 on 15th January 2008 05:07 -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

Quote (Florediorre @ 12th November 2007 20:57) Sorry, this is kind of late.. It's been a while since I sat and did something I actually enjoy! Edea- FF8- (ink) Rydia and Edge (Locke's AlterEgo's idea ^^) A quick sketch of Quina. I would've liked to make it more colourful Unfinished Terra (for L.Cully!) I'd really like to finish this one. I liked the drawing, but I kind of ruined it with my not-so refined colour pencil skills. *eyes widen and blinks wildly* wow thats alot better than i imagined it would be, you've got some real tallent there. I like the quina alot too, though in a way it seems to have too much going on in the picture. It's a real good interpertation of her. I liked how you chose to keep them as full line drawings rather than color, it adds something to the obienace of the whole sence. Though i am curious how they look in color. Thanks for doing them though they turned out great -------------------- Don't fear the reaper! Bit of something different: Your portrait (Alma FFT) or the Lady Agrias from FFT.
Perhaps you could do Samantha from Vagrant Story if you could find a good source image That stuff you have so far is amazing, major flaws.... HAH... seriously your a talented sketch artist -------------------- |

Can you do one of relm, celes and terra all posing like they were going to have there picture taken? A group shot might be too challenging though?? Hm well if you could manage it i'd like to see that. I think the girls in FF6 are some of the most developed story wise than any of the other girls.

Thanks everyone!
Done FF7 and FF10, whoo. Jessie from FF7~ JESSIE Belgemine from FF10, Mucha-style! (Didn't think Manga would be appropriate for Belgemine)~ BELGEMINE Both of them are minor characters, but I've always found them particularly interesting. Shame they don't get enough attention from fans. Quote (Thief Of Navarre) Bit of something different: Your portrait (Alma FFT) or the Lady Agrias from FFT. Something like this? --->OVELIA & AGRIAS Ovelia-sketch Agrias-sketch That's my attempt at doing a simple drawing of one of the scenes that shouted out to me. I believe it was titled 'Ovelia's Misgivings' in the PSP version, and I don't remember what it was called in the original.. Samantha should really be fun to draw! I'd like to do it... regardless of the fact that when I last checked, there were hardly any clear pics of her on the web. Quote (Lockes AlterEgo) Can you do one of relm, celes and terra all posing like they were going to have there picture taken? A group shot might be too challenging though?? It should be challenging seeing that I'm not exactly confident when it comes to drawing proportions, but that's all the more reason to give it a try. Sooo now I've got FF1 (Sara) and FF9 (Garnet) left, and I'm thinking of redoing FF5 to make it look more like Reina/Lenna. And here's my (unfinished) final piece~ FF GIRLS Line-art Princess Sara -rough sketch Lulu- rough sketch Characters: Sara (FF1), Leila (FF2), Unne (FF3), Rosa (FF4), Faris (FF5), Celes (FF6), Tifa (FF7), Quistis (FF8), Beatrix (FF9), Lulu (FF10) and Mjrn (FF12). I'd like to finish it soon, but there's one little problem- I'm not happy with the colouring at all. I went and coloured in in pencils when I was well aware that my colour pencil skills are relatively poor.. I thought it would be good practice. I'm now thinking about redoing it in watercolour instead or making it greyscale (and fixing Faris and Leila's faces), but starting over is kind of tedious. What do you guys suggest? Hnmm looking good, the styling is very consistant with you're other work, like you're own signiture or something. As for coloring, cant say i've ever been a fan of water color, maybe try some pastles or something along that line.

Those are amazing. The detail is spectacular. It looks as if a professional artist did them. I'm trying to study to become a filmmaker and/or gamemaker and writer, and art has always interested me. You should be a concept artist for a game or movie, just like Amano, and your pictures are just as good in my opinion. You have a lot of talent.

My personal favorites are the Ovelia, Agrias, and Relm. Nice expressive detail on Ovelia's face, as well as a generally realistic level of detail. Overall, really awesome work, Flore!
And while Quina is technically female, I'm not really sure she counts along the same lines as the rest of these characters, being a non-humanoid creature. But you draw her well anyway. Quote (Florediorre @ 9th February 2008 14:41) Belgemine from FF10, Mucha-style! (Didn't think Manga would be appropriate for Belgemine)~ BELGEMINE This one's probably my fave, not only cuz of the great detail, but...well...it's not in manga! Nothin' wrong the manga/anime style, of course; your other drawings are great, too, but, really, manga/anime has never been my favorite style and what you did with Belgemine is closer to my own preferences in terms of style. I likes -------------------- |
