@FBM:
My problem with protect is that it's only really effective for moves like hyperbeam, solarbeam, or (my personal charizard fav) Blast burn. Paired with Toxic, it could be devistating tho. In diamond and pearl terms, STAB makes all the difference. You may have been advised against EQ, but with your moveset, that is a good idea saying that you no offense against Flying types with your generic Grounder. As for Double Edge, I've thought long and hard. I've been trying to breed the Rock Head ability, but the only thing that works for it is Double Edge. Being that double edge is a normal attack at 120 power, you get no bonusses. EQ with STAB is 150. Iron Tail (with the low accuracy My more intriguing alternative that i've recently discovered, is a battle tower item in D/P that is called a Muscle Band. The only stated effect is that it slightly raises the power of (+10% my assumption) physical attacks, which all of my steelix ideas are. Making the fangs a 71 power, and with the STAB (depending on the calculation order somewhere in the 160-165 range on EQ and Iron Tail. This bred onto a Steelix EV trained in Atk and Def, and with a Nature boosting either Atk or Def will make a tank. Plus, if you forego the Double Edge, and get a (more common) ability of sturdy, You can't OHKO him with OHKO moves, making your tank that much more effective. I'm still open for suggestions, as there is no recovery factor to this pokemon, but I've found that where I normally use faster pokemon (and Steelix is not) I go all-out offensive and try to beat down my opponets by balancing my pokemon against their weaknesses. As I hate missing turns by switching, my usual teams involve pokemon that are well rounded (my mewtwo has the dreaded Ice Beam/Thunderbolt combo Although I tend to lose my STAB, I like suprising combos as well. For example, my Leafeon knows areal ace. Something the fighters and bugs never see coming, and that they can't dodge. My Luxray naturally learned Crunch, which is like... "Oooh... you're gonna parylize my psychic/ghost... ***Crunch*** What!?" Most people would probably see that coming tho, as I'm not really as clever as I give myself credit for. My Spiritomb functions almost solely on a Dream Eater / Hypnosis combo. And my Gryados has Bite, Ice Beam, Surf, and Dragon Rage. And for those DR haters out there, let me tell you, that when my team was completely unbalanced due to lack of fire pokemon in pre-pal park D/P, Bronzong on the psychic E4 dude was entirely obliterated by DR. Not a lot of damage, but consistent. I found this picture from a thread on gamebattles.com . I figured I'd share it with all of you. Not sure if it's legit or not, but hey, here it is anyways:
![]() Edit Also, rereading leilong's post, I'd just like to point out that OHKO moves are banned from competitive play, making Sturdy is obsolete ability basically. This post has been edited by Caesar on 10th January 2008 16:05 -------------------- Is PJ |

So I'm on my quest to debunk this case...
The biggest argument is that Giratina's pic overlaps into the DS logo, not a usual thing, as the old japanese DS cases clearly downsize the character to fit comfortably within the margins provided. Preliminary note: I DO NOT KNOW JAPANESE! EVERYTHING I'M ABOUT TO SAY IS BASED PURELY ON MY ANALYTICAL ABILITIES AS A CHINESE STUDENT! I never learned Kanji, as Mandarin Chinese does not use it. Using a quick reference alphabet on Wikipedia tho, I believe that I have analyzed enough. The game title at the bottom of that Giritina case says the same thing as the Pearl box, with the addition of one character, which imparts an O sound. O-Pearl... Opal. Just my thought. I should let a real Japanese reader take a look at this. Too bad the only ones I know are from here... Real or not, it's a nice idea for a game Color/Stone. -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! It's katakana, which is easy enough.
I agree with lei, it seems like it says opal. As for it's legitimacy, I have no idea. -------------------- "Some fight for justice. Some fight for law . . . . . .Cecil, what will you fight for?" ~KluYa |

Not real. I think I've seen this picture before. Besides, we would've heard something by now if it was real.

Quote (leilong @ 9th January 2008 23:38) And my Gryados has Bite, Ice Beam, Surf, and Dragon Rage. And for those DR haters out there, let me tell you, that when my team was completely unbalanced due to lack of fire pokemon in pre-pal park D/P, Bronzong on the psychic E4 dude was entirely obliterated by DR. Not a lot of damage, but consistent. I have nothing against Dragon Rage. Well, I do, but not as much as I do against Ice Beam and Surf. Gyarados has an appaling Special Attack stat, and I really see no reasoning for using Surf and Ice Beam over Aqua Tail and Ice Fang. You get the same typing, just extra bang due to Gyarados' amazing Attack stat. Earthquake can also be a nice little move - rarely expected, and if anyone sends in an electric type to take you down (more than likely...) you should be able to take them down before they can attack. Also, If he's a sweeper, you really need Dragon Dance somewhere in there. There's nothing like setting up and then wiping your opponent clean. Also, completely unrelated, but: Quote Please play Pokemon Diamond / Pearl on January 12th. You'll find something different!!!!! Source: Masuda's Blog So, any ideas what this 'something different' might be? Due to clock changing checks already carried out, it isn't programmed in, so general speculation is that its a Wi-Fi thing, most likely finally activating the Mystery Gift function. In any case, we'll just have to wait and see, but I'm certainly excited about it! |

Oh Jesus-God let it be an Azure Flute! I would give my left, right, and middle nut for a legitimate one.
I'm so glad that I have Diamond and Pearl... If it is items for Arceus, Shayamin, and Darkrai, I may go buy another copy of the game. I'll go to my local used games store and buy them out On a related note: for those Battle Revolutioners out there: I've discovered a couple of nifty things! The Volt Tackle/Surf/Light Ball Pikachu you receive as a mystery gift is free to buy, and although it's only allowed to one per game... umm... PER game! So after all the labor and credit on the part of my Diamond, my Pearl got a free ride. The second nifty thing about this, is that it force unlocked the mystery gift on my pearl without having to talk to anyone. And it has remained available as an option to check. Quote I believe high game playability means, to make the game fun playing many times repeartedly. Same as this GTS. So we considered the following contents. >some Pokemon's Pokedex descriptions are written in foreign language, >automatic mail translation, >the location of the opponent you traded is pointed on the globe, >country/city name is indicated when you set the cursor on the point, >rare colored Pokemon's Egg can be found little easier, >Pokemon traded with different country have better growth than the one normally traded, Ideas like above are incorporated in the game. International pokemon level even more?!?! That's pretty much too cool for words. Gotta love the broken translation (which I am still fully grateful for, just commentating on) on the Game Freak site. -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! Oh cool, I got a Japanese Palkia. Unfortunately, it was at a friend's - I don't have WiFi at home
Anyway, I thought long and hard and I replaced Stone Edge with Earthquake. Stone Edge had no STAB, and only 80 Accuracy. leilong's right, i'd prefer a 100 + STAB certain hit move. Besides, Stone Edge covers Fire, Flying, Ice and Bug. EQ covers Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock and Steel. Flying is mainly physical and will be pathetic against Steelix, Ice is neutral because of the Ground/Steel combo, Bug does half against steel. I'm covered. Ghosts may be a problem due to resistance against Normal types and a frequent Levitate ability. Fighting or Ground are my main problems. A Special fighting move could, in theory, OHKO Steelix. |

In general, its doubted it will be anything to do with Arceus, Shaymin or Darkrai. None of the three have been officially announced anywhere outside Japan (and even there, only Darkrai has), and the chances that they would announce one of the three and make it available in the same day are pretty slim. A lot of people think it'll be the Member's Card, but to be honest, I'll be happy no matter what it is. At least it'll activate Mystery Gift at last. |

Okay... I need a massive explanation:
(Side Note: I'm still new to EV training) Quote Now to explain how these work. Say the Linoone battled 4 Zubats and aquired 4 EVs in the pokemon's Speed EV. When it levels up, it will gain one more point to its Speed stat than if it had battled three Zubats and one Geodude (1 EV to Defense). This is because for every 4 Effort Points you get towards a certain stat, you get one point more to the stat. If you wish for a less technical explanation, let's call each Effort Value a Piece of Heart, like in any Legend of Zelda game. If you get four Pieces of Heart, you get a Heart Container. Quote There's two more ways to make the whole EV training process go faster. Remember the Macho Brace from that house north of Mauville City? That brace will double Effort Points gained. Suddenly you earn 2 Effort Points for each Zubat wearing the brace. Have you heard about the elusive Pokerus? That does the exact same thing as the Macho brace. So now you have a Ninetales carrying a Macho Brace with the Pokerus, and you just defeated a Spinda. Since Spinda gives out 1 Effort Point to Special Attack, and you have both the Pokerus and Macho brace, you get 4 Effort Points points to Special Attack, which results in you gaining one more point to Special Attack on your next level-up. Suddenly that 255 becomes 64 pokemon that you have to battle to fill the Effort points up. Of course, the Pokerus doesn't appear that easily, so good luck trying to get it. Serebii is my source. Okay. I have a macho brace, and managed to trade for a Hitmonlee on the GTC that just happened to have the pokerus (sheer luck and coincidence!), and infected my Yawning Vaporeon. 10 Zubats later, he gains +3 to speed on level up. I thought it might have been a fluke, and continued to level him another whole level on just Zubats. 22 Zubats later I level up, did I get a +22 to my speed? (22 one point zubats x 2 [macho brace] x 2 [pokerus] / 4 EVs to one point) No. I got a +6! I have not been training this Vapo long enough to have hit my maximum yet! I am deeply concerned. Even if I hit my ceiling, that ceiling has got to be closer to +20 or +30 away. On a side note: I finally found a use for the counter app on the Poketch! Someone more EV seasoned please help! -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! Yeah, you'll get big bonuses like that, but the full effect of them won't actually appear until levlel 100. It gradually increases over each level up. Which is why I think my Steelix is broke. It's level 100 now, and even after Spec. Def EV training, he's still pretty low down.

As I said before, the benefits of EV training don't really appear until you do a level 100 wifi battle. I typically don't get any more than 4 points in a particular stat when I EV train, except in rare instances when the pokemon naturally gains like 6 per level (Shuckle, for instance). The highest bonus I have ever gotten was +28 and that was after getting 252 Sp Attack EVs with my Heatran before he hit level 71.
But yea, counter application is tops for this business. Can't beat it. Plus, it's fun to use after each battle. -------------------- Is PJ |

Okay, so what I'm hearing is this: The EV stat increase is more of a seperate increase on the IVs, allowing for more points per level up, not necessarily tacking on growth to specific levels. That I can understand.
Also, apparently, I'm a big liar, cuz I went and bought a calcium and a SpAtk booster (i forget the name) to discover that they're either capped out, or I've capped my overall points (as I initially EV trained the vap on Unowns, which are +1 Atk and +1 SpAtk). Either way, the macho brace will be now utilized on Onix and his Pokerus (so nice to contract...) to boost his Atk and Def. I may be able to do it locally (if I find my friend's cousin's DS), but I've got the metal coat, and I'm gonna need to trade him here in the next couple days... PM me if you would like to help with that Edit Also, I have a Shedinja now! If only he would learn that move that makes the opponet's HP the same as his... His movesets pretty much suck. He's really a Physical in a Special world. (Bug/Ghost) Toxic is in tho, cuz if you can't kill him, you're doomed! Moreover, can struggle hit a shedinja? Quote (leilong @ 12th January 2008 03:23) Moreover, can struggle hit a shedinja? According to Bulbapedia, yes, Shedinja can be hit by Struggle (it can also hit Ghosts without using Foresight or Odor Sleuth beforehand.) Also, on the 'surprise' front, the news is out about what it is. Or at least, it may be only partially. The snow in Snowpoint city looks different. Its kinda sparkly and dusty that flitters around the screen, rather than small white blobs moving down it. Poor show Masuda, you got us hyped up about nothing. |

anyone find out about this special event today? please tell me there is something more in game than just weird wether in snowpoint.
Upon examing the picture posted it looks to be fake cause of how the wing over laps, the size of the the pokemon itself, the size of the lettering and because the background is completely black instead of shimmering with the color of the what ever it's suppost to be representing. This is just my opion though, plus there is no real clear representation of a stone or gem of any kind being protaryed throught hat pokemon. Which means it probably wont feature it. Even if it is the third legendary dragon in the game, odd are really good that wouldnt be the choice for it. I mean emerald was based off of rayquaza sure, but they games also had the three lengendary regi's which they could of featured and didnt. Though i dont know. If they do do a speical edition, it will more than likely have both plakia and dilaga, (obviously) and perhaps and event with one other legendary invovling those two as well like in emerald. If that be the case, if they really wanted to follow the series or the movie, Possible spoilers: highlight to view But i am not a 100% sure on that either. Though i do think it's a safe bet to say they will release one. The've done it with every incarnation of the games (except for fire red and leaf green) that have come out so far and were main/new games to the series.(firered and leaf green just being remakes of the originals, with new content and some new pokemon added.) Like i said i am not an expert on the games but i would assume that following current trends with the series that here in a few months we will get the "leaking" of a new pokemon, possibly legendary or a starter or something, and then the announcement of a rehashing game of diamond and pear. Just from what they've dont in the past of course. it would be darkari, which is suppost to quell some of there fighting in the new movie. Its been a while since i played this game. So I decided to play this morning, and I went through sunnyshore gym without having anyone fainting. Heres how the battle went.
Hippowdon vs. Raichu- Raichu used Light Screen, I OHKO him with EQ Abomasnow vs. Octillery. I used Woodhammer, Getting him down to like 5 health, He used That one move that only he knows. He gets down to one health after hail. Valkner Uses Hyper Potion, I miss. Octillery Gets hit by hail. Wood hammer, Im now in my 40's(I don't like recoil damage) And he uses bullet seed, and gets me down to 23. Octillery Faints because of hail. Hippowdon vs. Luxray. Another OHKO EQ! Infernape vs. Ampibom OHKO with Close combat. So after beating Volkner, it made me realize that I have nothing to beat water. I think I might get me a Roserade to use. But as of now, my line up for the elite four is Lucario- Aura Sphere Strength Flash Cannon Drain Punch Hippowdon-Earthquake Rock Smash Crunch Sand tomb Infernape-Flame thrower Mach Punch Close combat Shadow Claw Mismagius-Shadowball Pain Split Psybeam Payback Abamasnow-Blizzard Woodhammer Avalanche Rock Climb Palkia-Surf Ancient Power Dragon Claw Spacial Rend Well, How well do you think that will work. Hopefully someone has a lot of PP if I have to pull him in last minute for a toxic Moreover on the 'special' thing... Snow? I already hate snow enough without this little addition! I went so far as to see if the Regigigas would wake up without the Regis (As I don't have them), but no. Just stupid snow. Dumb. Stupid. Snow. Oh yeah... Shedinja + Macho Brace + Pokerus + 42 Zubats = + 11 Speed at Lv 21! I rounded off the 64 total, and moved on to upping the attack. Oh yea, Shedinjas have a Hasty nature. Which increases speed, and lowers defense. I was so sad when I found out my defense was dropping... oh... wait... the other thing I found that the area inbetween Solaceon and Celestic (where you defog and the dragon lady lives) Has a few good attack EV pokemon. It's not the most consistent, but with +2 Bibarrels and +2 Machokes paired with +1 Machops, leveling goes pretty quick, except for that one time that I was laughing about my Shedinja's Wonder Guard, and that stupid Bibarrel used Rollout! I'm not entirely sure why, but it was a OHKO! Quote So after beating Volkner, it made me realize that I have nothing to beat water. I think I might get me a Roserade to use. But as of now, my line up for the elite four is Abombasnow has that wonderful grass beatdown attack Wood Hammer! If that isn't doing the damage you're looking for, you may consider using an Energy ball TM on him. As Abombasnow's base Atk and SpAtk are the same, You will get just as much punch out of Specials as physicals (A nice trait, at the cost of both stats being slightly diminished off of more unbalanced comparisons) Where Energy ball is essentially a Grass type Psychic/TB/IB (ok... it's 80 instead of 90... whatev The argument I'll make for it is the same argument I use to defend my reliance on IB/Surf over Ice Fang/Waterfall with my naturally more physical Gyrados: The pokemon these attacks work well against Grounds, many waters, Rocks, etc. are primarily physical based, meaning that (rock/grounders in particular) have through-the-roof defense against physical, meaning instead of ramming a truck into a brick wall, you're ramming a Semi into a brick wall (with physical STAB). I'd rather go the special route, and ram my compact (weak SpAtk) through a pane of glass (weak SpDef). Surf owns pretty much everything. Case and point with Generic, non EV neutral examples: Gyrados vs Onix, both at lv 50 using maximum of ranges: Gyrados: 177 atk, 112 Satk Onix212 def, 97 Sdef Water Attacks Waterfall: 80 Physical Surf: 95 Special Waterfall in action: 177 atk + 120 ( Waterfall with STAB) = 297 vs 212 def... Surf in action: 112 Satk + 142 (Surf with STAB) = 254 vs 97 ?! GG. Now I know that damage calculation is not this simple, but my point is illustrated. So until Caesar pulls out his Def/Sdef tank Shuckle, then my theory is shot to hell. Thats a no go on the energy ball. I need to get a party to beat the elite four, and there is no way to get him to learn energy ball before that. By all means, prove me wrong if you can. My problem with woodhammer is this.
Ok i almost killed him. WTF!?!? 40 damage of recoil. Dang. Special event: Im going to see it right now, and i must say its.... not so great. Bravo, Nintendo. This post has been edited by yomama on 12th January 2008 20:35 |

Rock/Ground combos, thats the sort of situation I use my Ludicolo. A Surf or Giga Drain will easily take down anything, without compromising the potential awesomeness of Gyarados. Plus, its always handy to have Ice Fang for any pesky dragons or birds I may come across. |

So I was looking at the Event-Only Pokemon List on serebii, and I discovered that there is an Electivire and a Magmortar under Pokemon Battle Revolution, next to the Pikachu I already have. I was like, WTF?! So I checked out serebii's PBR section, and found this link.
I went home, put in the codes, and without the need of FR/LG, searching for elekids and magbys, or having to worry about my 5% diamond chance of a Magmarizer, I now have a Lv 50 Magmortar, and a Lv 50 Electivire. Also, their movesets are phenominal. I'm not even going to change Electivire. He is a physical attacker, and he knows thunderpunch, ice punch, cross chop, and EQ!! Also, I've been wanting to breed a fire with some grass attacks (I've been thinking Vulpix/Ninetales + Energy Ball, but I used my EB TM on my Leafeon, and traded to my pearl. Being that Pearl has not beaten the E4 yet, it makes it a Vulpix-free zone Anyway, I got this Magmortar, and it knows Solarbeam, Flamethrower, Psychic, and Also: I discovered that Shedinja can learn Substitute??!! It fails due to "Insubstantial HP" but it's kinda funny. -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! Yea, the Electivire and Magmortar are pretty nice. I always liked making my own pokemon, though (and getting the magmarizer myself even though it takes ages), so they are just sitting in my PC box. Meh. Maybe someday they'll get some use.
I've always liked Ninetails. In fact, she was one of my best pokemon until I switched to a TR team. I suggest breeding your Leafeon with a Stantler first. Stantler learns Hypnosis naturally at like level 10 or 14 or something. EB and Hypnosis are both egg moves of Vulpix, so you could pass them both along to him. With just EB, FT, and hypnosis, you can hit everything but dragons and fire types with at least neutral effectiveness. If you give him Dark Pulse, he can hit everything except Infernape and Houndoom. It's really up to you. Ninetails can learn some great boosting moves also, like Nasty Plot (learned naturally!) and Calm Mind. You could easily just Hypnosis something and then Nasty Plot on the switch for a free boost. If you switched Ninetails in on a fire attack, it'll boost her FT even more (Flash Fire FTW!). Nasty Plot'd, Flash Fire'd, STAB'd FT with the right nature and EVs can be frightening. And not too hard to pull off reliably, either. Just bait a fire attack with something like Steelix, Forretress, or Bronzong and then switch in Ninetails. -------------------- Is PJ |

I'm starting to really enjoy EV training...
I so wish I had a camera that could actually take good pictures of DS screens... Long story short: Full EV train on Speed = +34 on level up. Half EV train on Attack = +22 on level up. Yea! -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! I have found a strangely decent team for the Double Battle section of the battle tower:
Articuno, Electivire, Charizard, and Rhypherrior. The fight starts out with my Articuno (Which I will never give up on Electivire is fully speed EV trained, so he usually gets the first shot (stupid ninjasks The problem with my Articuno right now, is that he is not optimized by any means. He was used as a tank to help EV train other things, as well as sweep the E4 a few times, so I have no idea what his EV stats are, not to mention that they're probably about useless. Aside from that, I've been using him as my token bird for exploring, so he knows... um... Defog. The nice thing about the Arti/Electi opening combo is EQs. Hardcore Dual Battle beatdown, with no negative on the Arti. Need a changeout? Throw in Charizard, still EQ FTW. As for Charizard, he is still majorly unbalanced, but more useful since I taught him air slash (which I want for my Articuno), but I still have heat wave (for the duals), FT, and Blast Burn My Rhypherrior was kind of a, "I need one more, just get in there" pokemon, but he has been really effective. I caught him as a Rhydon on the fire mountain in D/P, so he was like lv 58 or something, and I thought, hmm... use the protector and pokedex fill? He's been sitting as a monster stat being in my box forever since I traded him to get the new entry, and then I took a look at his attacks. Hammer Arm (as if he's really gonna get any slower anyways), EQ, Stone Edge, and I mixed him up, and popped an HM03 on him, as they were kind enough to carry over Rhydon's ability to learn surf. Most teams don't survive the initial beatdowns of Arti and Electi, but if they do, they get burned or hammered. The team has been so effective, I'm on my 5th round in a row beating through these fights in hopes of getting enough BPs to buy my item to maximize my Steelix. And in case you're wondering, i'm not using my Steelix b/c it does not raise levels to 50 for the battle tower, just lowers them down, so my lv 18 steelix is a runt in those battles. -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! So you all seem to have the game, I must ask if I liked LeafGreen would Diamond and/or Pearl be worth buying a DS for? I like Pokemon in general, but I didn't care much for Ruby and I'm hoping it's not too much like it

Diamond/Pearl are pretty good games, but I don't believe in buying something that expensive for just one game. Maybe pick out a few other games for the DS that you want too or something. I'm a huge pokemon fan, and I don't feel like I'm missing too much just by fiddling around on my sister's Diamond version. In the end, it's all up to you.

Just for the record, I bought my DS solely to play Pokemon Pearl. With over 240 hours clocked, it more than paid itself off. Actually, with that one 2nd place tourney finish, Pearl was paid off.
Whatever. If you like Pokemon, you'll likely enjoy Pearl/Diamond a whole lot. I hadn't played a Pkmn game since GSC but I wanted to play again so I picked it up and became instantly addicted. -------------------- Is PJ |

Quote (Caesar @ 30th January 2008 12:11) Just for the record, I bought my DS solely to play Pokemon Pearl. With over 240 hours clocked, it more than paid itself off. Seconded. DS + Diamond X 233 hours = my reason to buy a DS. The plus side: there are LOTS of DS games out there. I've been considering getting MarioKart DS, there's FF III for the DS. And there's also the prospect of the upcoming and oh-so-exciting looking FF IV remake for DS. The DS is a great investment no matter how you look at it. Pokemon just makes it a better investment. Also: with the GBA slot, the DS works great for the R/S/E/FR/LG generation as well -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! That's cool. I was looking at the FF re-releases and Resident Evil DS too. But Pokemon usually takes up more time than the others (so much crap to do). And I have an obsession with doing every possible thing in every game I play
