I just got this game and decided to play it (despite not finishing XII) and i think it is really cool, especially integrating favorite characters and music from XII. It resembles to me a combination of FFTactics and the DS game LostMagic (i could just be crazy...)

What do you all think of it?

I think the gameplay is great, but the story isn't all that much.
