So I decided to buy a new FF game, and I have been intressted in several ones, mostly Origins for Playstation, and FFI for the PSP, though I don't have a PSP(But I've would buy one if I had more cash..), so I'll most likely buy Origins. But I have heard that some Playstation FF's (Like FFVI) lag's and have loading times and stuff, I just wanna know, is it like that for this version too? And is there any reason for me not buying it? Also, the game stores I've been too doesn't have Dawn of souls, so don't mention it :/

So technically I just wonder if this is worth to buy, any help please? Also, sorry if this is in the wrong section or anything like that..

FF Origins didn't have any annoying load times that I remember, and I do recall being very frustrated with FFVI and Chrono Trigger.

I would highly recommend Origins. The loading time is just fine and everything is effective. Its the most similar to the NES versions. The gameboy ones being too easy and the PSP one I can't comment on seeing as I have never played it however those stupid secret dungeons are still in them.
All the PSX games from 1-6 are very similar to (S)NES. Well worth it.

Was gonna mention DoS. I didn't play origins. I heard the PSP ones had some different features. I played FFI on PSP and liked it, but I own DoS.

PSP version has terrible loading times from what I've seen, even when loading up a battle

PS1 version is a step up from that

Best loading times however is the GBA version, everything is nigh instant, even saving and loading a saved file

The PS1 version has zero loading times at all. It's amazing considering how bad they were in FFV/VI/Chrono Trigger.
