I have had the Snes version then I got the playstation one and now I have the Gba one. In the gba version I found a pink tail within 20 battles. I have been trying to get another one but I cant find it I have used over 200 sirens and still cant find another tail. Can you find another one tail and get more adamant armor. I was wondering if it is possible to have adamant armor for everyone on the gba version and the playstation version, I know that would require alot of time and patients, but I am just curios.

Quote (Leeterbots @ 31st December 2005 07:26) I found them in the lunar ruins, trying to get to the twins challenges. I haven't seen this before - maybe someone can tell me what's going on with them in FF IV Advance: He he he. I wanna see those enimies with the summon bar removed to see if there real or a phoney. Quote (Dark Schneider @ 9th July 2005 20:07) Unless you use a code you can only get one Pink Tail ever. This is denoted by the yellow highlight over the text when you recieve it. It is considered a 'key' item that cannot be gotten rid of except through storyline. By the way, I love Adamant Armor. I put it on Rydia and Meteo only does around 450 damage to her at level 99. Unfortunately even Adamant can't fix up Edge's horrendously low magic defense. Is that true? could anyone confirm this? Anyway, i have an adamant armor, took me like 20 tries with restarting my gameboy and using up sirens / alerts / alarms / whatevers for fighting flan princesses. It's awesome, though you don't really need it for anything. -------------------- All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Broccoli to die. |

Hmm i'd also like to know if thats true, because I saved about 32 sirens, so I can use around 3 for all of my characters.

SUCCESS!!!!!!!
I got a Pink Tail on my third attempt using the Alerts. I wasn't expecting it at all becasue I was just about to give up. I defeated them and then looked away and then when I looked back the item screen was up and in golden letters it said PinkTail. I hadn't contained my excitement until I had saved it. Hoza and Horah. |

I was super lucky when i got the pink tail. I only had one alert because i thought they were worthless and when i used it, i got the pink tail on my first try!! I thought from that point on that the pink tail was dropped every fight with the PPs but yesterday my friend told me its a rare drop, so wow was i lucky.

This is my first post ever, so if you find errors in it then I apologize. Also this forum thread may be dead and I had no idea. Oh well. I hope to answer some of the questions I have read here to the best of my ability.
Firstly I have played this game, most recently, on the PSX and have 5 adamant armours. I have fought approximately 300 battles with them (not all saved). the pink puff is located in the right side room at the bottom of the fifth floor of the subterrane, right by a ladder to a small platform that goes nowhere. the room contains a chest with the inferno item. The pinkpuffs themselves are resistant to all negative affects except slow (big whoop). They appear to lose a turn when trying to make a character "dance". As far as "Can anything other than dispel remove berserk?" yes there is. The unihorn can, and it can be stolen from panther typed enemies. Unfortunately in my experience, maybe this version, if I enter a command and before execution the character is berserked then I lose that action. Bummer. Well anyway the only other tactic I used to get 5 tails was to ration my alarms. If I did not get a tail within say 50 fights then I reset and tried again, even if I got elixirs. I ended up using about 140 alarms to get all 5 tails, with another 160 (or more) not saved uses. Now if I can only get my other ribbons and crystal rings. I hope that helps and I also would love to see the savants information on this. oh ya almost forgot. the 1/64 is per enemy. NOT per encounter. I have had multiple drops in an encounter before. |
