I'm currently involved in politics discussions, Wikipedia disputes, and tons of homework, so I think it's necessary that I get my priorities straight. I was drinking milk today.
What's your favorite milk or milk-like drink? For the record, I'm not sure where to put chocolate milk. I don't think it counts as a separate category, since it's merely flavored milk of some particular milkfat content. Me, personally? I like 2% milk the most. Less milkfat means faster spoiling, but I like the flavor of 1-2%. I dislike the flavor of skim milk. Whole milk is nice, but given my penchant for eating really creamy/fatty foods, I decided I might want a bit less. As for soy milk, I prefer it sweetened. Also, my apologies if the poll's apostrophes are formatted funny. -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing. How bizarre. I've just been drinking this chocolate-soya milk my flatmate has been buying in quantity from Lidl (59p a litre!) and it tastes like brilliant. I put down soya because it's thin and 3% protein or something. I had rice milk a while back when one of my kids (not mine, but I was taking care of them) was allergic to dairy. It tastes madly sweetened but afterwards I have always made a mental note to buy some.

I must be some sort of crazy freak of nature because my milk allergies are backwards. I'm usually fine with normal milk (except the occasional stomachache), but I'm irritatingly (not deathly) allergic to soy milk. I guess I'm evolved against alternative substitutes.
I like anything from skim to whole. I drank Half and Half straight recently with cookies, since we were out of milk. Not too good. -------------------- I find your lack of faith disturbing... |

1%. I've been raised on it for almost my entire life, so skim tastes like water and 2% tastes like cream.

Always 2%. Though I only have milk with cereal or some form of cookie.

I'd have to go with 2% milk. I usually drink milk with each meal in some form or another (whether it be with cereal or straight up).

Needs more "with Bailey's" option.
I usually do skim. I'm keeping my girlish figure. I have gotten to the point where I can't even drink 2% or higher any more unless it's steamed and atop espresso. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

im gonna add my vote to 2%. it just tastes better. 1% is ok, but fat free just tastes like water. course, that's what they give us at school now.

Was all about the whole milk (vitamin D where I come from) when I was but a lad, then later on, I only had access to skim, which to me is basically milk mixed with water. Eventually, when I struck out on my own, I found that my years of skim had soured me (lol, pun!) to whole, so I've struck with the happy medium of 2%.

I like 2% but the family buys Whole Milk.
C'est la vie. I mostly just drink it with cereal anyhow. Other than that, it's water. -------------------- If you've been mod-o-fied, It's an illusion, and you're in-between. Whole milk. It's patriotic to drink whole milk. Because it's not the most healthy option. And if you pick the healthy option here, you're not a patriot, and that makes you a TERRORIST! And the alternatives taste funny too!

Whole milk is my favorite, although I'll drink anything from skim to 2%.

Soymilk, preferably the Silk variety, plain. Vanilla can be good too, but I usually don't like the extra sweetness.

I must have the bones of Atlas, because I drink a ton of milk. I drink it with breakfast, with lunch, with dinner, my snacks and desert. We go through three bags (Anyone else get milk bags? I know some folk don't.) In a day. And my parents only use it for tea.
Anydangway, 2% is the preferred milk in our household. My grandma used to use cream in her cereal, but thankfully she didn't exactly pass that one on to me. She was even more surprised to hear about rice milk, and almond milk. Milking a rice grain has to be the most difficult of all.
