First post ("Whoo")
Does Final fantasy VI advance for GBA feature a *"new game+" similar to the one found for emulators on this site: http://masterzed.cavesofnarshe.com/ff3.html ? *Starting game from beginning, saving equipment, stats and magic. (Like CT) Thanks in advance. Sincerely ~ztanz This post has been edited by ztanz on 16th October 2007 01:01 |

Quote (Master ZED @ 15th October 2007 15:03) No. Oh my. Guess I'll stick to your little patch instead. Okey, crazy question, would there be a way to actually patch the GBA game like you can do with SNES? |

Well, yes, but that would require a GBA patch instead of a SNES patch, and I don't think any such GBA patch exists. -------------------- |

Actually, I'm sure you can patch GBA games. I have no experience with them, but the concept of a patch is applicable to everything, really. I could make a patch that makes changes to a Word document, even. The versions of patches won't be compatible, though, which is what the issue here is.
The new game+ patch was for the SNES version of FFVI. The GBA game is laid out differently so the instructions in the patch don't change the right values; it IS possible to make a patch for the GBA game, but that patch won't do it. Edit Lasz beat me to it. ![]() This post has been edited by Caesar on 16th October 2007 02:10 -------------------- Is PJ |
