For those of you who don't know, the Back to WOB glitch is a glitch that can only be done in the Japanese version of the game. It involves going up to the rafters in the Opera House and killing yourself during the battle with the rats. You'll see the 4-ton weight drop, and you'll find yourself outside the Opera House in the World of Balance with Veldt music playing, no airship, and all party member K.O.ed (you can still use a Phoenix Down.). If you go inside the Opera House you'll see 2 Impresarios at once, and the game freezes.

I've been experimenting with this glitch. This is actually a really interesting bug.

Little interesting tidbits (I love that word) I found:

If you have Celes in your party and go into the Opera House the opera will continue from the part before Ultros comes in. You can find and read the letter from Ultros on the floor, but you can't continue the opera because if you talk to the Impresario he'll just talk about how you saved his ass once again.

If you have three or less people in your party (not Celes) and get into a battle, Celes will be with you. However, she won't be in your party out of battle.

Jidoor is WOR version.

Zozo is WOR version.

Kohlingen is WOB version, but entering most buildings will turn it back into WOR version. However, leaving and re-entering will turn it back into WOB version.

Going into Figaro castle and using it to dive under the sand will change the field back to WOR, but the airship will still be missing.

I didn't experiment any further past that. Does anyone else have the Japanese ROM (or a Japanese copy of the game) and something to say about this glitch?

If Zozo's the way it is in WoR, is there a possibility to find (and, OMG, recruit) Cyan to your party?
