In terms of story, I really liked the battle at Fort Zeakden. But that Wiegraf battle where he transforms was pretty fun and very difficult, but I finally won after abusing Guts abilities.
-------------------- FFIVDS looks awesome, right? Especially the character scans. I mean, look at that CGI scan of Yang. You see it and you just think...badass. And then you look at his polka-dot pants, likely stolen from a Dr. Seuss book. And then you just...shiver. |

My favorite battle is Igros Castle in which Zalbag joins as a Guest against Dycedarg and his 5 Hokuten Knights.
Golgorand Execution Site and Limberry Castle against against Zalera, the two dead Knights and the Skeletons with Meliadoul as a Guest are tied at a close second. -------------------- "Thought I was dead, eh? Out of all the battlefields I've played, NOGIAS has probably eaten the most hours. There's something about starting out on the high ground and the enemies clamoring up the sides of the middle mount that's appealing. Storywise, I absolutely love town battles for the different heights -- Yardow, Riovanes, and the church in Zeltennia are all boss in my book.

I forgot the name of the waterfalls place, but it's the one where Ramza
Possible spoilers: highlight to view reunites with Delita (in golden armor) and finds Princess Ovelia. There was just something in that scenario that gave me the cozy feeling of two computer players helping me out while I beat the crap out of Gafgarian (who has been turned into a white mage and given absolutely no abilities-equipments-spells at all. IIRC, it was early in Chapter 2. Or maybe 3. |

probably my fav battle is right after you get t.g cid and you fight the first storyline battle against a bunch of thieves and archers i think, cannot recall where it is exactly, anyway every time i get into that battle u just start laughing at the opposition and normally take em out with just orlandu and beowulf, but then again most battles after that can be done the same way

My Favorite Battle is at Zirekile Falls in chapter two, when you get Ovelia and Delita as Guests and you have to Fight Gafgarion. Yeah thats my favorite battle.

My favorite battle would have to be "Fort Algus" for several reasons.
1. This was the first truly challenging battle for me, and can still give me trouble sometimes depending on what I'm doing (challenge, or simply class mastery) 2. Umm.... yeah. Possible spoilers: highlight to view The story really takes an amazing turn here. Delita starts his long road to personal redemption and satisfaction because of this one event. Truly epic. Also... it doesn't hurt things that Algus gets the axe! ^^ (Gods, I hate him) -------------------- STC, Current Challenge: [Chrono Trigger] (Progress: Ch.2 Start) |

I love the battle inside of Limberry Castle!
It really puts stealing to the test! -------------------- In order to find your oppenent's weakness, you must first learn their pattern. Once you know their pattern, you can build a counter strategy. |

My favorite would have to be Battle 23: Back Gate of Lesalia Castle - the first time you meet Zalmo.
I am a powerleveler by nature I suppose the reason why I think it is the best battle is because of the above, and because (as long as certain requirements are met, you can have all your characters w/Basic Skill/Guts, Yelling and Accumulating behind the wall inside the castle, and, if you kill Alma in front of the only access point/the enemy doesn't have any long-range abilities - such as Elemental - you can't even be touched until you WANT to...and by then your speed and strength will be so high your team will barely get damaged. -------------------- 'As the Sun touches the ocean - I know it touches you.
