Have you ever managed to kill it before it split in six Bombs?
I played it through twuce and it always did...

I believe that it automatically forms when you drain it to a certain amount (probably 20% ish).

Hmmm you're right...I didn't study this much because the battle with the 6 Bombs wasn't very hard:All I had to do was to make Yang kick twice and then finish the stronger group of bombs...

Its supposed to Split into 6 bombs, or as R_C already said, drain it to a certain point.

I'm not sure you got what his question was.

And yes, I think I had one-shotted the mom bomb once, but I could be mistaken. This was back in my game-genie hacking days, so my party was already level 99.


You know what's really fun, though? Seeing Rydia as a child casting Meteor. xD

you have to be a certain level and have a certain attack power...like be lvl 40 or 50, but it also helps to be in active mode and not wait mode. I have seen my friend do it during a 24 hour straight gaming day of final fantasy we hold annually after playing FFIV for 5 hours before the mombomb point...hehe

PS: On this "holiday", we choose a few ff games to play for the 24-hour period, not just one. The games are always playing, and are only turned off to change the discs (WOOT)
