Hi this is my first post everyone
does anyone know the damage formula for ultima weapon?
how much strength/valour and hp and/or level is needed to deal 9999
saw related topics elsewhere but didnt understand well
pls advise anyone?

if u are at lvl 99 everything damages 9999

You can find how Ultima Weapon works from Terii senshi's Algorithm FAQ at gamefaqs.com or rpglegion.com (which won't work for me today, for some reason. It was fine yesterday). It'd be a bit much to copy/paste the whole formula to here.

To summarize, it follows the same formula as every other weapon, but skips certain steps, and adds a few steps on to the end.

Anyway, if you want to deal 9999 a hit with it, boost your Strength up to 128 and then continue to level up until it happens. That'd be the quickest way.

Also note that the raw amount of HP you have has no effect on the damage Ultima Weapon causes. What does affect the damage is the percentage of HP you have remaining. If you are at full HP, it will do full damage (whatever that happens to be), and it gets weaker as you lose HP.

In addition, Ultima Weapon's unique formula causes it to be weaker than it should be at levels lower than 64.

EDIT: Oh, right. Equipping a Gigas Glove or Hero Ring will help you reach 9999 damage quicker.

wait... ultima weapon... is that for the GBA version, instead of Atma weapon?
