Yes, i have a gorgon in my item screen. The discription is:

Mt. Ordeals-
Entryway

I used this Action Replay code:

B9FED375 F7DF1AF1

The code gives Cecil the item "Cockatrice", in his left hand, but if he has a Hero shield equipted there, you get the gorgon. It also vanishes if you try to sort it. Any info on this would be nice.

Isn't that the Gorgon Blade? What version are you using?

Well,

1. No, I don't have a screen shot, but I wish I did.

2. No, It's not a weapon, It could as well be enemy data, but the location is all wrong.

Oh, and this is for the GBA version (The errors don't bug me).

You're being fairly vague on the steps you took to achieve this. As far as I can tell, you had Cecil with a Hero Shield in his left hand. You then used an Action Replay code to give him the Cockatrice summon item (Why you did this I have no idea). This caused a theoretical glitch giving Cecil the item "Gorgon" in his left hand - an item, not a shield, weapon, or armour, correct?

Could you make the screenshot - It shouldn't be hard to replicate the circumstances, should it? I have a few theories but i'll withhold until I see the screenshot.

You're 100% correct. I emptied his right hand (Forgot what hand the code effected at the time), but the code effects the right hand, which had the hero shield.

I also tried with some other items, but nothing strange happend.

This is going nowhere. You did something, but you're not quite sure what, and you can't show us. Please replicate this is an emulator and take a screen shot. Until we can actually see what you're talking about, this thread is closed.
