A long time ago, someone had a Final Fantasy VII website that gave an alternate explanation of the plot that actually made sense once you read and digested.  It was pretty neat.  My link is broken, though.  ^_^()  I'd like to find the same article again to show my stupid boyfriend, but I can't.  Does anyone remember the site I'm talking about and know where to find it?

I'm not sure if this is the one you are talking about, but it could very well be since it is down as well.  I'll see if I can find if it is up some place still.

Tiddles might know as well since he was the one that gave me that link, IIRC.

Ooo, another FF7 explanation would be great. I always forget everything anyways unless I get a refresher every once in a while.

--------------------
The clouds ran away, opened up the sky
And one by one I watched every constellation die
And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard
Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star
I should've known, walked all the way home
To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone

I can't really suggest anything more than Googling it, which I'm sure you've tried.  There are so many differing (and mostly factually incorrect) explanations out there it's hard to keep track.

<plug>My own thoughts on it all will be on the web eventually</plug>, not that it helps you now.  Sorry.

That URL doesn't seem to work now but fear not. I have two very good pre time line history and the timeline to the actual game story. I'm posting these because they are so accurate and presise and... I'm bored:
